I first used this company when my stove keeps shorting out. It was trial and error to fix it but the gentleman that came to my home had a great deal of patience. The stove has worked perfectly ever since. I was so impressed with the work I had them come back to install new Lighting in my kitchen after my renovation was complete. I had purchased this really nice LED light. And they paired up with this very modern dimmer switch that gave me an option to put a switch in a spot that didn't have electricity. And it dims the light so perfectly. I'm not up on modern technology but I was just so impressed how this lighting project turned out. I will definitely be using RTD again.

RTD Electric was recommended by the company who installed our heat pump. Make sure you receive a “firm” quote from Rick the owner or just hire someone honest. He tried his hardest to bill me a higher price as he said that there was more work involved in the job. I challenged him on this and he finally backed down. I would never hire him again as I could not take him for his word or his quote. There are too many electricians in Victoria to settle for trade people who try and squeeze out a few more $$$. Unfortunately he rides on the coattails of the Heat Pump Company that recommends him. I mentioned this to the Heat Pump company so that they know how he treats customers! Greed at its worst.

My wife and I have used RTD for years, from very small projects to our recent major renovation, which was a complete upgrade and re-wire of a 1930s home. They do good work, are very personable, professional and reasonable!

RTD is very personable and agreeable. I would use him again but next time I will spell out the job precisely in writing, no matter how obvious it may seem, because information is lost through subcontracting and/or delays. Costs are ultimately borne by the home owner.
