Vlad's Custom Carpentry

Vlad is an incredible talent. He is efficient, detailed and creative. Vlad took our design idea and realized it with fantastic workmanship and ingenuity. He listened to our direction and added his own recommendations based on his experience and knowledge.
Vlad completed the project from start to end within a few short weeks. We are thrilled with the end result. This is the 2nd build Vlad has completed in our home. Without reservation, I recommend him for custom cabinetry. We will certainly be using his services again in future.

It's really hard to find good contractors you can trust these days with anything we do. Vlad is honest, easy to work with, and reasonably priced. His work is A+ (see pics}

From the moment I contacted Vlad I was impressed. He got back to me right away, asked to see pictures of my vision, and followed up with questions to have a clearer scope of work before providing me an estimate. Then he visited our home, talked to me about what was realistic and possible for the design, took measurements and adjusted the estimate as the size and needs of the design (I.e. drawers, hutch) were bigger than I originally thought.

I appreciated that Vlad listened to me and explained why he needed to tweak things (I.e. our floor wasn’t level, sconces needed removed etc.). When he was building, he would come to measure and check sizing before he continued. Always checking in and following through.

Unlike other contractors we have used, Vlad was phonemonal at communicating and giving us a realistic timeline for when he could begin and how long the jobs would take. What he said was exactly what happened from the timeline to the pricing. There was never a surprise.

The two projects we had done were builtin cabinet and book shelves surrounding existing fireplaces. As we didn’t want to replace the fireplaces, Vlad used as much of the original tiling as possible too. The pieces turned out beautiful and are now feature walls in our home. Guests are really impressed when they see them and how they have changed the flow and warmth of our home.

I would recommend Vlad to anyone who has a cabinetry and millwork project. He is an artist and puts so much love and care into his work.

I am sooooo happy with the two built-in cabinets that Vlad built. He did such an amazing job and it was done very fast. He went the extra mile also. I had wires from mounting my tv that I couldn't get thru the wall. He helped solve the problem and got it done!!
He was so friendly and kind. He was sweet to my rescue dog too- which shows a lot about a person.
The final product looks absolutely perfect and he actually exceeded my expectations. I can't recommend Vlad enough and I'm already trying to think of other projects I could get him to do just to get him back here again to make things look better! Highly highly highlyyyyyy recommend Vlad!!!!

Vlad designed and built 2 custom closets in our home and completely exceeded our expectations. Vlad takes the time to listen, provide advice and ensure the end product is well understood. His attention to detail is impeccable, so is the quality of his work. Very professional and serious with his commitments. His costs are very reasonable. If you are looking for a very experienced, detailed-oriented, reasonably-priced carpenter then look no further. Vlad listens carefully to your requests and meets your needs to the T. He is very talented in what he does. When he wasn't able to find the correct size of bead board to back my cabinet, he made it himself! He made a custom desk attached to floating cabinets, which we love. And he works with all the asymmetrical walls in order to fit into your space perfectly. He has a gift and charges reasonably for quality work.

We asked Vlad to build us a Built in Entertainment unit for our family room. Working with Vlad was very easy - he is calm, efficient, professional, and listens to what you are lookin for.

We are very happy with the finished product - very high quality and has completely changed the room for the better! Vlad came by to understand our needs, measurements etc. All the work is done in his workshop, with installation done at the very end.
