I hired P&P to finish my basement after reading all of the positive reviews on HomeStars. I can honestly say these guys live up to all of the great reviews on this site. They helped us with some really great design ideas before the project started. We are extremely satisfied with the work that the team has done for us. Our project manager, Mauricio, completed the job with the highest level of professionalism and attention to detail.

He communicated progress with us every day and kept us calm when he discovered our main sewer line under the basement was plugged with tree roots. He was able to replace the pipe at a very reasonable cost and get the project right back on schedule within a few days.

At the end of the project, Mauricio touched up any small imperfections in the basement and cleaned up everything including the main floor where the materials were brought in every day.

I highly recommend P&P, and I will be using them again. Our 2 small children love their new basement!!

We were pleased to hire P&P for the second time to make improvements throughout our house. This time, Natanael and crew, installed insulation and pot lights throughout our top floor and basement, redid a full bathroom and office,and installed new doors and trim throughout.

Similar to our previous experience, we are very happy with the attention to detail P&P provides, the extra work they put into correcting found anomalies (existing bad plumbing and electrical, etc) and respecting our budget constraints.

We will hire them again in the future.

A lot easier than I expected it to be. Renovations were finished in a reasonable amount of time and I never had any problems with the men who came over to work on the reno. They were very kind, helpful and informative. All questions I had were answered and they worked within the guidelines I had given them. Found them through the homestars site and am very glad I came across them. A+ experience!

I had my basement done by P & P back in April 2012, so this review is a little late. I was not going to submit a review for reasons I will not get into but finally decided to, so here it is.

Found P&P on Homestars.com and was impressed by the favourable reviews. First met with Natanael's son and eventually signed on after meeting Natanael himself. He seemed professional and knowledgeable so I decided to take a chance and hire him. I met the subcontractor he hired for the job the same day. I realize many contractors subcontract work out but I was still not too happy about this. In the end my instincts were right.

Long story (sort of) short, I had several incidences with the subcontractor and one serious one that had me so irate I called Natanael and told him I wanted the subcontractor off the job. Natanael accepted and came in to finish the reno. I explained my situation, he understood and began to work. I showed him several things I was unhappy with and left him to work. I returned not more than 1/2 hr. later to talk to Natanael and he is now upset and begins to show me his list of about 10 things he found to be below his standards and vowed to correct them. He did and then some. He went all out to try and please me and for the most part did. I was very satisfied by him and his team's effort and work.

I would have given a 10/10 but my experience with the subcontractor takes away a perfect score.

I would recommend P & P to anyone and in fact already have.

I hired P & P Renovations to finish my basement and I couldn't be happier with my choice. From the start I was impressed with their level of professionalism. Natanael provided a detailed estimate and all pertinent documentation within a week of his visit. I decided to choose P & P based on the reviews and the estimate, which was competitive. Natanael's son Natico was in charge of the renovation and was able to direct the project smoothly from start to finish. He brought in a team of workers, each of whom specialized in a specific trade (i.e. plumbing, tiling, framing, painting, etc). Observing the progress day-to-day, it quickly became clear that each member of the team took great pride in their work. They demonstrated great skill through the high quality of their work and the attention to detail. I would consider myself a very difficult and demanding client, but Natico was able to meet all my demands. He actually went beyond what was required of him by completing work not outlined in the contract at no extra charge. I would highly recommend P & P Renovations.

P&P Renovations built a bathroom from scratch for us in our basement and renovated our upstairs bathroom. I can't say enough positive things about them. First, the guys doing the work were very respectful, friendly and professional. Second, the work was done on time and within our discussed budget, despite a few inevitable surprises hiding in our 100 year-old house. And most importantly, the end result is two rooms that we love. I highly recommend this company and look forward to working with them again.

With a couple of young kids we decided to have our basement finished to give us some much needed additional space. We had contacted 8 different contractors in total and found P&P Renovations to be knowledgeable, kind and provided an accurate quote that was well detailed and fairly priced. We had a great on-site crew that did their best as to not interfere with our hectic schedules - with two kids at times I am sure we made more noise than them! They were clean, plastic was placed over the basement doorway, drop sheets were put down every day and things were left in a reasonably tidy manner. Everyone was kind and didn't mind answering any questions we had. We are very happy and pleased with the finished product; it is exactly how we had envisioned it to turn out.

Natanael and his crew were a pleasure to deal with during their work on our basement. They replaced water-damaged drywall, installed baseboards, and carpeted the stairs. Natanael was creative in finding solutions to the challenges of our particular situation. We are very satisfied with the results and would recommend P&P to our friends.
