The Duct Cleaning Specialists

We did a lot of renos over the past year and I was looking forward to getting the crap out of the duct work that accumulated. Came to homestars, read the reviews, and visited their website. That was an easy decision.

They arrived on time, they were very friendly, and very important, they were very meticulous which as a homeowner I appreciate. Took about 2 hours to clean our small home. Would definitely recommend to others to get their ducts cleaned.

It's amazing how efficient they are operating their business (software) and advertising & marketing (homestars). That way they can focus on doing a good job with the ducts.

The Duct Cleaning Specialists arrived on time, explained what they were going to do thoroughly, and then did it quickly and tidily.

The also had useful information about my furnace.

I Will certainly use their followup services as well.

Paul and Steve were courteous, professional, efficient and educated. Since it's been 15 plus years since the ducts were cleaned Paul took the time to explain the cleaning process to us and did a thorough job of cleaning all of the duct work in our house. The furnace was given a fabulous cleaning. Paul also, replaced the furnace filters for us. Paul does not rush through and perform a speedy cleaning. Paul was on site for over 3 1/2 hours making sure everything was done right. Any small messes on the floor were also cleaned up. The Duct Cleaning Specialists our professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend their services!

Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced! Paul and his team did a thorough analysis of what needed to be done, performed the work in a friendly and efficient manner, and did not try to upsell anything. They were extremely knowlegable and professional, highly recommended!

Based on the good reviews I received from my In-laws I called the Duct Cleaning specialists. They came to my house and inspected my ducts before starting the job. They were honest enough to tell me that my ducts were clean and really did not need a cleaning. They ended up examining my humidifier, furnance and air returns and provided great advice on how to maintain them. I really appreciate their honesty and great customer service.

It my first experience with duct cleaning. I recently bought a very old new home and it turns out the ducts were very much in need of a good cleaning. They did a great job, very respectful of my home and my time. Everything went as Paul had estimated. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his work, and takes the time to explain things. So nice to see people who are passionate about what they do.I only wish I'd had them come to do the job sooner. The whole house just feels better.

I saw their truck at my neighbours house and thought I could give them a try. I am so happy that I did. They provide a professional and personable service and I would definitely use them again.

Part 1:

Great experience thus far. Paul is punctual, extremely knowledgeable, and very candid - something I can really appreciate. We have been debating changing the carpeting throughout the house, and wanted to (as part of the process) have the ducts professionally end-to-end cleaned. Paul came ot the rescue, and earned my respect when on-the-spot, and at my door ready to start, he offered to do just the furnace upfront, and come back after the carpet was laid for the rest of the duct cleaning. Like me, he's a believer in building relationships with clients in order to secure long-term business, and word of mouth advertising.

We are hoping that the carpets will be installed in the next 4 weeks or so, and will be able to have Paul back in to complete the rest of the work.

I'll update with my final review then, but after our first meeting, I've raised the bar for Paul, and I'm convinced that he'll supersede those expectations as well.

Part 2: Dated 7/25/2011

Beyond Excellence!!!!

I made the mistake of having both Paul's team and Reliance Home Services in the home back-to-back, each one working in/aroudn the furnce. 2-3 weeks later when the time came to call on air conditioning, it became apparent there was a problem.

Turns out someone had punctured the evaporator coil maliciously or otherwise in the plenum of the furnace. I was stuck without A/C in terrible temperatures, and the option Reliance provided was to spend $1200 on a new evaporator coil. Clearly this was frustrating beyond belief to me. I contacted the manager and 2 months later I've yet to hear back. While I don't think Paul's team had any guilt in the matter, he knew the situation for unfair all around, and assumed 100% ownership in finding a solution.

Paul reached out a longtime friend in the commercial A/C servicing industry who operates his own company, and within 24 hours a team was onsite repairing the coil at no expense to me. Reliance was unwilling to even provide a repair quote, they only wanted replacement business. After 2 hours of work, the team completed the repair to my satisfaction, and provided me with lifetime warranty on their repair work. I've never seen a bill or invoice related to this, and as a result, Paul has not only won my continued business, but my respect.

Needless to say I will cancelling my maintenance contract with Reliance as soon as I find a suitable replacement. I felt it only fair to share my story so that anyone willing to invest the time in researching a trustworthy, reliable professional in this industry can find Paul, as he's truly deserving of all of the success that I wish him.

Oh, and a final point, the job done was flawless, but what did you really expect.....

Thanks a million Paul, we're keeping cool, and I know that the air we're breathing is a little cleaner thanks to you.

The Duct Cleaning Specialists just completed the cleaning and samitizing of our home's ducts. Their work was very professional and efficient. They arrived on time and completed the work in the time that they estimated. Their work was very neat and just a breeze for me. The employees were very personable.
