Haroutunian Masonry

The problem I faced was damaged bricks on both sides of my front steps. The left side was the outer wall of my garage. The right side was a wall which functioned as railing for the steps. Front steps are one of the 1st things a visitor sees. I was not pleased with the apperance of my home, as well as I was concerned about its diminished resale value. I was not looking for a company to simply repair the damage. I was hoping to find a company that could provide me with a solution which was "better than new". I wanted my home to look better than it did the day I moved in over 20 years ago. Fortunately I connected with Wayne Haroutunian. He was prompt to respond, easy to work with and creative. He must have provide me with at least 6 quotes, necessary as the solution kept evolving.
The work commenced on the date promised and was completed as promised. The results exceeeded any expectations I had. Thanks to Wayne for all his efforts in coming up with the solution and Robert and Author for a really 1st rate job in implimenting the solution.

Wayne and his team were nothing but accommodating, patient and professional through the entire job. After the inspection of my new (old) home revealed that some brick work would need to be done, Wayne responded quickly to my request for a quote which came in under the other quotes I received. Wayne aligned - and then re-aligned - his schedule with mine (and the neighbours) to get the work done as quickly and unobtrusively as possible. The result? A job well done and a very happy customer! If only all contractors were like Wayne.

Wayne and his crew - headed by Neil - took exceptional care in matching the brick in our townhomes - which is now hard to find. The quality of the repairs were excellent - the work completed on time and within quote - but the thing we valued most was the fact that the repairs are seamless. Highly recommend this company.

Wayne and his staff were quick to respond with a quote and have also answered questions thoroughly and quickly by email (unusual in the field and something I much appreciated). They were detailed in their assessment and were forthcoming with references and photos of other jobs (the same request was ignored by other contractors I was in touch with). They did a fabulous job - I especially appreciated their attention to detail. They replaced bricks on our old home with ones that matched perfectly and the tuckpointing job also required various colour matching, which they did carefully. All of the staff have been exceptionally friendly, and finally, their price is competitive, if not cheaper than the competition. For the quality, cost and service, I would highly recommended them to anyone.

Most of my contact with Haroutunian was by E-mail as my scheduled didn't allow us to meet to discuss the job. From the word "go" they were clear on the details of the job including the cost. The job looks excellent and the clean up of the site was a pleasant surprise . They made it impossible for me to be grumpy!

We had our chimmney rebuilt and also had repair to some brickwork done. We have an old (90+ years) home and there have been some repairs in the past which are obvious. Wayne's team repair work was tremendous and it is virtually impossible to tell it was done. He was helpful in brick selection and did an excellent job in matching the style of brick work (which included manualy shaping the ends of the bricks at the corners). After I saw the work, I wished I had told him to rip out the old repairs and do them as well.

As well, the crew was on time, professional and cleaned up well. A great job and I would highly recommend.

We were impressed with the professional service that Wayne Haroutunian and his crew provided. They were meticulous, prompt, and extremely friendly/courteous on the job. You can tell that the crew had pride in their work and were happy to explain the process in repairing the section of our wall. Such a rare find! The bricks matched perfectly as if there had never been a problem there.

Hard to find good servicemen nowadays. Wayne came by to give me a written estimate, and had his workers show up at the appointed time. Not only were they prompt, but also courteous and very clean. Parging/tuckpointing is a messy job, and they brought their own drop sheets to protect the driveway and collect the garbage. They insisted that I inspect the finished job, to make sure that it was completed to my satisfaction. Later that evening, I received a call from Wayne to make sure that all went well. A very pleasant experience, would not hesitate to recommend them!
