We had Poly B piping removed from our house with this company in June 2022. We have mixed feelings about the experience.

Positives: The work of removing the Poly B piping, replacing the piping, and drywalling the house was excellent. When we returned to the house after the work was complete we were overjoyed to see how well everything had been repaired, and all of the plumbing worked great. It was easy to have this work done and set up by Urban Piping, and the team was communicative about how and what would be done through the process.

Negatives: A marble composite bathtub skirt/siding was broken into multiple pieces in the process of removing one of the pipes. During our walkthrough with Graham, he assured us that he would help connect us to someone who would repair the piece. He also implied the repair would be covered and initiated by them. We paid for the completed pipe work and awaited further instructions about the tub. A month went by without any contact and the damage remained, which made it unsafe to use due to the potential for splashing into the interior walls behind the bathtub. We attempted to contact Urban Piping, the admin desk, and Graham directly over the next 2 months. Calls were not returned and Graham left multiple texts on read, then responded by sending us contact information for the person he said could repair the damage and denied he would cover the damage that his team caused. 3 full months went by. We spoke to his contact. She as well as 5 other bathtub repair companies indicated the repair was too large and would need to be ordered new. After receiving quotes, we ordered a new piece ourselves. Graham never responded further to our communication about this, including an invoice for the cost of replacement. We paid $2000 to have the piece replaced and had to do several hours of searching to find out what was needed as there are limited sources of marble composite siding.

We would recommend the pipe replacement work done by the company as it was was worth the price and excellent quality. However, the unresolved bathtub damage replacement really soured our experience and made us wary of Urban Piping's customer service and very disappointed in Graham's lack of integrity. If you use this service, we would suggest carefully inspecting for damage and not providing full payment until it is repaired at Urban Piping's cost and time instead of yours.

Re-piped our entire home. We were on a timeline and they worked extremely hard to get us into the place as soon as possible. We were very pleased with the quality of work and their service during the job. They know what they are doing! We would highly recommend using Graham and the team from Calgary.

I was very impressed with the work done by Urban Piping right when they pulled up in my driveway early for my appointment. I had to go to work late because of the plumbing leak, so I was very impressed that they showed up ahead of time. Job was done quickly, staff were nice and informative, and the cleanup of site was perfect.

On time! On budget! And done early! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and did great work!

Our house was full of poly-b and Urban Piping was kind enough to get started on our home with very short notice. I would definitely recommend Urban Piping to anyone having issues with their plumbing - the lead engineer himself came to work on our house and he really knows what he's doing. They did an excellent and clean job and we have full confidence now that we won't experience any leaks in the years ahead. We even asked them if they could switch out the hot water tank for us and without any hesitation they added that in last minute. We are really grateful that we no longer have Poly-b in our home. Urban Piping replaced our Poly-B in our new house. They do not subcontract so you are not dealing with multiple parties for drywall and restoration. They kept to their quote. They delivered on time. Honestly, its rare to find such caring and professional people. They protected our floors and walls and did a thorough clean after the work was complete. We were blown away by their restoration work, they even matched faded stucco paint after we moved our outdoor facet. We had them back to our house since the Poly-B replacement to replace our main shut off valve. We have no hesitation giving them a 10/10 and highly recommend them.

Graham is very knowledgeable, friendly, punctual, and followed through with his promises. He and his crew did a fantastic job replacing all the poly-B pipes in our house. When the City of Calgary adjusted the water pressure in our area that caused one of our taps to 'water hammer' we informed Graham and he came right away and resolved the problem for us.

Graham was a delight to work with throughout the course of our poly-b replacement. He was courteous and promptly replied too all of my questions. They took great care to protect our home while they completed the work, and their customer service was generally far above most contractors we've worked with over the year.

Work was completed on time a week ago. We are quite relieved to have had Poly B plumbing removed and replaced. The plumber has returned to correct several outstanding issues. The owner personally re-painted a problem ceiling area. Our concerns were dealt with very promptly. Overall, the work was of a reasonable standard. We would recommend this company.
