Its the first time I ever dealt with Reshad for the generator maintenance and he is not trust worthy from my prior experience. Since they are the installer of the generator, they should know its a 2011 0r 2012 model and they should bring me the air filter for annual maintenance. When he came, he changed the spark plugs and the oil but the air filter. When I demanded to see the old parts, he claimed that he put that away. Thus, I open up the air filter box and learned that he didn't change it at all. During my confrontation, he simply told me that I don't need to change the air filter and my filter is extremely clean. after I showed him that it was recommended to replace air filter annually per Generac website, he admitted that the office gave him the wrong onw. He promised to replace it after the office ordered the right part for me. Since I deal with A plus for years, I gave him the benefit of doubt and pay in full. Nonetheless, he never came back to replace the filter! I was extremely regretted not withholding the costs of the air filter but pay in full!!!
On October 16, 2022, I scheduled a maintenance appointment with A Plus again and mentioned to the store manager (a woman with accent) to bring me the correct air filter and to bring me an extra one that they owed me! She assured that the technician has the parts and he will fulfill the job with no doubt!
When the technician came without the air filter, he tried to convince me to change the oil and spark plugs first, and he will come back to replace the air filter. Based upon the prior experience, I refused to let him do the work and called the office immediately.
The office committed to order the air filter(S) if I can forward the picture of the air filter to her via MSG and an appointment will be scheduled subsequently. Since she never calls me back , I followed up with her the next date. The manager claims about the manufacturer no long produces the parts for the generator model that was produced prior to 2014 and she told me that they no longer provide services to customers living in Richmond hill when a technician is dispatched to the site without performing the job! She claimed that the other service providers are more expensive and she merely charging $299 by treating me as a loyal customer! LOL! what a joke!!!!!!
As a result of her inappropriate tone during our phone conversations, I argued with her that if she ordered the correct air filter, I shouldn't have any problem to pay the said amount, $299 plus tax! I even question her whether will she pay in full if the promises is never being fulfilled???
After the unpleasant conversations with A Plus, I found another service provider who carries the genuine Generac parts for my 2012 Generac guardian 14kwh generator for a service package costs $250!
BEWARE OF A PLUS' misleading promises AND THEIR UNPROFESSIONAL MANNERS!
BTW, I have them to replace my battery on November 17, 2020 and the battery is the cheap no brand name generic battery that has life spam of 2 years. I have the technician to check the battery voltage and that's what I learned!
I definitely will never recommend A Plus air system from Etobicoke!
STAY AWAY FROM A PLUS LOCATED IN ETOBICOKE! I WILLGIVE THEM A "ZERO" STAR INSTAED OG THE MINIMUM RATING "ONE" STAR!!!
