We called George (top of the Homestars recommended list) when we bought a new natural gas grill and found that the line installed by the previous owners of the home was not working. Despite a heavy workload, George managed to meet our request to come before dinner hour, out of his main area, so we could use our new BBQ for dinner that night. We would highly recommend George (Gas Guys) to anyone with Gas Appliance problems. He was fast, effective, helpful and inexpensive. Thanks for a great job, George!

We purchased a new natural gas BBQ and needed a line installed. George was very prompt at returning our phone calls and was thorough in explaining his estimate for the project (including the variables that could change the final cost). He arranged an appointment within the week and arrived on time. He showed ID at the door, was respectful of our home by taking his shoes off, and was patient and open to answering all of our questions.

The work was mostly completed during the first visit - it took 2 hours. Because there were heavy rains that day, George indicated that he would return within 48 hours to set the BBQ up. True to his word, he set up the BBQ and provided a demonstration both on how to safely connect/disconnect the unit and how to use the unit/features properly.

We would definitely recommend George.

George of GasGuys installed the gas line for gas range stove recently. Our main concern was that the shut off valve would take up room at the back of the stove and the stove would extend beyond our cabinets. George set the valve and line so that would not be an issue and all by code. He took the time to explain what he was doing and completed the job efficiently. I would recommend GasGuys.

Corresponded with George via email to get a quote on what type of work needed to be done. His price was the lowest from the various gas fitters that quoted me. Because of the good reviews on homestars, I booked him to come and replace & extend my gas line for my BBQ. The work was very well done and looks very clean and the pipes are sprayed to prevent rust. I couldn't ask for more. I would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. Thanks George and Gas Guys!

The Gas Guys installed a gas line from the gas source coming to our Victorian house, running it underneath the first floor veranda, up to the second floor veranda where the BBQ is located. The work was done expertly with the line firmly affixed along the brick wall. Due to eavesdrops and other obstructions the pipes were being custom made on site to fit perfectly - including a final paint coat. George also placed a T junction for a future gas stove to be placed in our kitchen. The work was completed within a few days of my request. George worked for 5 1/2 hours and honored his initial quote. I was extremely pleased with the work, and would highly recommend their service.

I have contacted George on May 13, 2013 as my new NG BBQ was not heating beyond 200 degrees. George responded so quickly and was very accomodating to my busy schedule. He showed up at my property the same day in the evening at exactly the time that we agreed upon. He was very courteous, professional and extremely experienced and knoweldgeable about BBQ's models and their different Gas tubing requirements. He performed a thorough inspection and was able to find out the problem and corrected it right away. George also spent the time to explain to me several things related to the Gas line and the BBQ and even went the extra mile to spray the gas line in the backyard with a special spray paint to prevent the tubes from rusting. I am very pleased and impressed by George's workmanship and would definitely recommend him to all my friends and would call him again if any work needed to be done related to Natural Gas. I found GasGuys.ca on Internet when searching for a certified professional to install a gas pipeline from the meter to my brand new NG barbecue.
We spoke over the phone, he made a quick assessment and scheduled a date to perform the work.
George, on belhalf of GasGuys.ca, arrived as scheduled, on time, and ready to work. After showing his credentials to me, he started the job.
I stayed by his side during the entire installation and witnessed his professionalism and excellent understanding of what needed to be done.
He performed flawlessly and efficiently. The quality of his work was excellent.
He was open to explaining to me every step of the work and why he was doing what. Although the risk of handling gas infrastructure is very high, George showed extreme care and confidence, and that made me felt very secure even when he left the premises.

Our neighbour had thankfully woken us up in the early morning because we had a fire happening in our outdoor kitchen. The firemen had cut and shut off our gas line. Early this morning I contacted George from Gas Guy to let him know of our situation. George made it a priority to be here right away.
