Where to begin? We bought a tub, shower system, and toilet from Tubs. The sales person, Elio, understood that our renovations were starting soon, and he promised us that the shower system would be delivered within a few days. This was done over the May 24 weekend, and he said he would call first thing Tuesday morning, as he was going on vacation on Wednesday. 2 weeks later nothing! It was mistake after mistake. I finally asked to speak with the manager, Edward V who was condescending beyond description . He was rude and demeaning in his behaviour, taking no responsibility for how his team screwed up big. The bottom line, the company, Riobel, emailed the sales associate, but since he was on vacation, this email was not seen. This happened even though myself and my contractors were calling every single day, asking for an update.
So finally 14 days after the promised date of delivery, we finally have our shower system! And what do you know? They had not given us all the valves necessary (by this point, our renos were done, and all the tiling was done). So now it was up to my contractor to go through the dry wall, to install the faucet valve, which Tubs had failed to give us.
The sales people there are like used car sales men, sleazy and dishonest. The manager is rude, completely non apologetic, and unwilling to take responsibility of how his team failed us. I will never set a foot in that store again.
