The people from Foam Comfort recently installed spray foam insulation in the walls of our nursery. We were impressed by their professionalism and we’re very happy with the results of their work.

Within a day of calling Foam Comfort to set up a consultation, Dan, the owner of the business, came over to see the room. He spent more than an hour with us, inspecting the room, explaining the options, and answering our questions. We wanted to know how much heat this would save, whether it would cut down noise (in a semi detached house), and whether it would resist mold. Dan explained it all candidly to us. The next day he emailed us a formal quotation with a price that was more than fair.

Over the following week we communicated with the administrative staff at Foam Comfort to schedule the job into the narrow window of time we had available. They always responded promptly and clearly to our emails. They were flexible about scheduling the job into the narrow time slot we had available. The work crew showed up exactly when they said they would and then completed the job within 2½ hours, as promised. They took care in laying down drop sheets to protect the carpeting and the hard wood, and they left no mess behind. Most importantly, the nursery is now much warmer than it was before. It’s amazing what an improvement the spray foam insulation has been over the old fiberglass batting.

All in all, we were very impressed with Foam Comfort. We will probably need more insulation work done in the future; if so, we’ll definitely go back to them. We would recommend them to anyone who’s looking to install spray foam insulation.

Foam Comfort's price was in line with their competitor's quotes. I hired Foam Comfort because their estimator came to my home in person and explained the process. The insulators were punctual and polite and they did an excellent job spraying and cleaning up. I will definitely be calling them when I need my walls and attic done!

Dan from Foam Comfort Inc., came by within 1 day to give a quote. He was on time, took his time measuring and gave us an accurate and reasonable quote. Both Chris and Dave who did the spray foaming were very professional, arrived on time and finished the job before the estimated time. The basement was left very tidy - great job!

My initial phone inquiry was answered promptly and an estimator scheduled quickly. The cost was competitive. Work was completed on time as scheduled. Workers were very polite, efficient and tidy.

I hired Foam comfort after getting a very nice site inspection from their estimator. When they arrived to do the job, I was wondering what I would have to deal with when it came to the workers on site.

We arranged for removal of old fibre glass attic insulation, applying a vapour barrier of spray foam and then a new layer of cellulose insulation blown in on top. The crews were very courteous and professional. They called to confirm timing the day prior. They took care to protect flooring and furniture and did an excellant job of cleaning up afterwards. The staff was efficient provided excellent follow-up and were very patient when it came to answering the many questions we had.

Foam Comfort has done 3 jobs for me. Foam on the outside of my house in 2008, foam in 2009 in my attic and front wall and air krete for sound proofing on the interior shared wall in 2012. The service in 2008 and 2009 was excellent. The foam worked wonderfully and my heat bill dropped a lot.

In 2012 I purchased Air Krete. It was sold to me as good for sound proofing my shared semi wall. Unfortunately, it was installed and did not work as sound proofing. In fact, the fiber glass batts that used to be in the wall worked better. I called to report this. They agreed to give me 50% off the price. I accepted this settlement. I will now buy sound proof drywall instead.

Very professional and easy to work with, did a great job and left my house cleaner than before they got there. Reasonable quote and great value for money. Very Impressed!
