Total bacement reno and new kitchen
We spoke with the owner Marcello when we were looking at contractors to do a total renovation on a bungalow basement and a new kitchen. We went every day to check on the work and the progress was fast and very clean. His crew were professional and efficient. The designer that works with him is also very efficient. They communicated effectively and coordinated all the materials and the delivery for each stage of the work. Marcello gave us a list of stages and detailed work that was being done. We added a bathroom in the basement so the concrete had to be broken to lay down new pipes. Marcello warned us of a few items that might incur some extra cost because he could not know what was hidden below the basement floor like the addition of a sum pump if required. Once the floor was open he did not see any issues and the work progressed with no changes in the plan. Marcello kept in contact on a daily basis on the progress of the work, something that most other contractors don’t do. After the work was done we had the house appraised and we received a 30% increase in the value of the house. The work was inspected by the building inspector and nothing had to be done with the work, all the codes were adhered to. We recommended him to our friends and they were all very pleased with his professional work ethics.
