I reached out to Valentin through text detailing my issue with pictures. He was very prompt in his response and detailed what was possibly needed to get the job done. Scheduled appointment the next morning. The next day comes and he follows up to keep me informed on his expected time of arrival, very appreciative of that. Once he arrived, he took a look to assess the situation completely and explained the best and worst outcomes of the clogged drain. I appreciate being fully informed. Once he finished assesing everything, he got to work. He installed an inline clean out so that snaking can be done. He used a 45 foot shaking tool and used the entire length of it. As he was doing this he was explaining everything to me and how it works. After he completed the snaking he tested the sink drain. He noticed the flow from the faucet was very weak, It never crossed my mind that the flow of water was weak, just something I got use to. He opened the faucet and explained to me about this water saving cap that restrict the flow. I didn't know this, and was ok to remove this if it improved the flow. He removed it and what a difference. He then tested the drain thoroughly and everything worked perfectly.

Valentin and his team recently replaced the private portion of the water pipe and moved the metre to a new site. They worked diligently, although it was raining heavily. They excavated the exterior soil in the front yard with care and filled it up after the work. They also cemented the inside floor after the installation of the newer pipe. The newer site is very convenient for me, as every utility service goes inside a single room. I can use the previous space for other work as I am doing the renovation. It was quick and meaningful thinking. Sometimes money can't compensate for everything, but this type of client-friendly solution is worthy. I am very grateful to Val and his team.

I recently had a backwater valve installed and my waterline replaced from galvanized steel to copper pipe. Val and his team knew exactly what they were doing and executed the plan with efficiency. They were tidy and left the worksite in good order. I found Val was great at answering all my questions and responding quickly. I was especially happy that they didn't have to break up my basement floor too much, they really took care to make the opening as small as possible.

My condominium bathroom and kitchen sinks are clogged and giving a bad smell. So, I contact Valentin via text, and I got a respond within 48 hours. Originally, I was only planning on unclogging my kitchen and bathroom sinks. However, Valentin recommended me to change drains for the bathroom to avoid future clogging. I was hesitate at first, but after careful consideration, I decided to go ahead with the change. I am pleased with the update of the sinks and drains because it would be easy for me to clean the drains going forward. Valentin was quick to respond after our conversation via text and we schedule an appointment quickly. He was on time for the appointment and unclog sink and replaced the drains in a timely manner. My tenant was happy with his service. He was really professional and sent me photos and videos of the job to update me on the progress. Don't hesitate to contact Valentin if you have plumbing issues.

After Valentin did the video inspection through toilet,it was determined that a blockage was upstream.

During the excavation (aprox.) 5' it was confirmed a collapsed pipe would likely be the issue possibly due to a combination of previous improper installation and old cast-iron piping.

Hats off to Denys & Sergheir who arrived on time and immediately began working on the gruelling task at hand.They worked dilligently until the job was complete..a full day.

Valentin communicated via tx. throughout the day sending pics.of the progress along with explanations.

The completion of work included the installation of a new toilet flange and new pipe connections for toilet, shower and kitchen sink.

A sudden downstream blockage in the main pipe under our front yard. Sewage backing up all over the basement floor. One toilet unusable; the other could be flushed maybe once a day, if we were very careful, and if we didn't mind a bit of extra input geysering up in the middle of Lake Feces.

Strong Plumbing fixed it all: endoscoped the problem, dug up the lawn, replaced the fifties-era defective city-installed traps with new PVC. Installed a new backwash. They even jumped through city permit hoops on our behalf.

It's amazing how the simple act of flushing a toiletsomething you take for granted your whole lifecan suddenly seem like such a luxurious indulgence after not being able to do it for four days. It probably would have been a week or more with anyone else.

These guys are goddamned heroes.

Valentin of Strong's Plumbing was amazing--immediately responded to my initial text (even though it was a Sunday evening), told me within the hour what the job would entail, and when he'd be able to do the work. He arrived right on time, having kept me posted via text, and was finished quickly (despite some surprises c/o our shower). His clean-up was impeccable.

Best of all? My husband was in the house while Valentin was doing the work, while I was downtown at my office. Valentin kept both of us posted--he even sent me photos. I really appreciated his keeping me in the loop, when he could just as easily have dealt only with my husband.
