When the snow melted and the ice thawed, I noticed that our outdoor tap had broken from the pipe during the winter. I had shut off the water source before the winter, but the valve had been leaking and caused water buildup leading to this break.

Valentin responded to my message almost immediately and came by the next day. Not only did he repair the tap and fix the leaky valve that had caused the issue, he provided me with great advice to prevent this issue from reoccurring.

While there he also replaced a leaking drain pipe in our kitchen for a reasonable price.

He left everything very clean, and the repairs seem to be working perfectly.

I got Strong's name from this website and sent the owner, Valentin, an email and within 5 minutes I had a reply and an appointment scheduled for first thing the following morning. He quoted a reasonable price and had the job done properly in two hours. He replaced the bathroom sink and tap, fixed a leaky toilet and bath tap. He was extremely pleasant and professional and I would definitely call him again and recommend him highly. Thank you Valentin – I will be calling you when I’m ready to renovate the bathroom!

I called Valentin yesterday morning, and he was able to come by in the afternoon. He fixed our kitchen tap which had lost most of its pressure, and was absolutely a pleasure to deal with. Both professional and knowledgeable. He will be my only call if I have any other issues in the future.

Valentin was always on time and did a great job. We had a few snags regarding the fixtures we bought for one of the specialty stores (not so great), but Valentin worked through it all and the bathroom came out looking fantastic. He was also very quick to reply to my emails and phone calls and as a first time renovator it was appreciated. I had just ordered a new Delta In2ition shower head online. It is a combination rain shower with a detachable center, which makes it a bit tricky to install. As I had spent quite a bit on this shower head, and I wanted to have it installed properly, so I looked on HomeStars for a good, inexpensive plumber.
All of the reviews I read for Valentin from Strong Plumbing Co described exactly what I was looking for - someone who calls you back right away, gives you a short time window, communicates frequently, and arrives on time. On top of that, his rates seemed to be very reasonable, and the reviews of the work itself were nothing but complimentary.
I called Valentin at 9am, and he gave me a window of 12-2 on the same day to give me an estimate. He called at 12:30 to let me know he was on his way, and arrived by 1. When he arrived he put covers over his work boots and came upstairs to the bathroom. He took a look at everything, and told me that he could do the job for his minimum rate ($120). I thought that was very reasonable, and he started to work immediately.
It was done in about 30-45 minutes, and he called me up to inspect his work. He showed me that the detachable shower head's handle was defective, as it was making a squeaky noise, and then showed me how to get a replacement through Delta's warranty, and he also showed me how to switch out the shower head for a new one when the replacement arrives (without using any tools). Other than the manufacturer's slight defect, the job was done perfectly. The shower works very well, and Valentin left the bathroom just as he found it.
I put his card up on the fridge, and I know I will be calling him back if we have any future plumbing issues.

Valentin and his crew replaced the water line from the street into the house and from the water main through the ceiling to the water heater. Valentin answered all of my questions and went out of his way to help me understand the scope of the work and figured out a way to minimize cost and repairs. He was exceptionally decent, hard working and his crew did an excellent job - I wish I would have called him years ago! When my mother needed a plumber we contacted Valentin again and she was completely pleased with both his work and courteous service. It is not often to see such admirable work ethic these days. I am 100% delighted with the work done.

We called Valentin to ask his opinion on a toilet we were considering purchasing. He recommended it & then told us where we could buy it at a lower price than the one we already had been quoted. Once we got the toilet he came right away to install it, did a perfect job, cleaned up the work area and carried the old toilet out for us all in under 2 hours. We would gladly give him a reference anytime.
