Purple Properties recently completed a full renovation for our en suite condo bathroom. Right from the initial meeting and communication I was impressed. They guided us through the purchase of materials, helped determine best design options given the size and limitations of the space, and managed the process perfectly from start to finish. Special shout out to Rowan, Jordan, and Amadeu who made the journey from start to completion effortless. We moved into our home 8 years prior and we did a number of minor renovations around the house but left the kitchen for a later upgrade. We did not have any structural changes that we could make but struggled for a vision on how we could change our space. Rowan really went over and above in helping us get an idea of what our space could be and that is one of the key reasons we went with his company to design our new space.

His industry contacts and design ideas helped turn our 20 year old kitchen into a modern work space that we absolutely love. The work was done on time and on budget and the entire team worked efficiently, effectively and empathically to our family's needs.

We are looking forward to our next renovation and plan on using this company again for that project!

After getting resistance from our condo board on a potential renovation we wanted to do, we reached out to Rowan and his team who were able to creatively come up with a great solution to address the board's main concerns. Due to other unforeseen elements we ultimately abandoned the renovation, and Purple Properties promptly returned our deposit. Had a great experience all-around with the team and would easily recommend them / be eager to work with them again!

We’ve worked with Rowan and his team for a number of projects and honestly at this point I’d be hesitant to hire anyone else. They are professionals and perfectionists. Always fast to find solutions to any problems that inevitably pop up, they also are really accommodating with extra requests etc. (I’m picky!).

Most recently they renovated 2 bathrooms for us, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!! Also the work itself was done with minimal disruption to us, even though we’re both working from home. The crew cleaned and vacuumed at the end of every day so the dust was a non issue. They also put in custom closet organizers and really high end custom wardrobe doors for us. The craftsmanship throughout is excellent.

Rowan brought us on a shopping day at the beginning of the project to select all our materials (tiles, vanities etc.) and dealt with everything to do with them from that point on (delivery/any issues with them) so we didn’t have to worry about anything.

Purple Properties did a fantastic job on our front landscaping. Including patio, walkway, gardens, driveway, irrigation, lighting and a pad for a basketball net. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and hard working. They cleaned up and organized the job site every day. Purple Properties came up with the perfect design, provided good advice on stone and planting selections and paid attention to even the little details. We are extremely pleased with the final product and have received numerous compliments from friends, family and neighbours. We would definitely recommend Purple Properties to anyone who is looking for quality work and they are at the top of our list for any future projects. Thanks Purple Properties!!

Rowan, Edgar and the crew did an absolutely fantastic job with our backyard project. The work included two new retaining walls, fence, deck, pavers, shed and general landscaping. They were great to work with and good, hardworking people. We would highly recommend Purple Properties. Honestly, they are the best contractors we've ever had.

Purple Properties renovated our condo over the summer of 2021 and we are extremely pleased with the results. We initially intended to just renovate the kitchen and both bathrooms, but ended up replacing the flooring, all doors and handles, baseboards, door frames, levelled the popcorn ceilings, painted throughout, and finishing touches (new electrical plates, etc.) As a result, the job was quite a bit more involved and costly than originally planned, but I am very happy that we did everything we did because the end product has a fully finished look that is both elegant and comfortable. The PP team did an excellent job of synthesizing my tastes with the recommendations they brought to the table based on their expertise. Rowan in particular has a gift for seeing opportunities, such as raising the kitchen ceiling that transformed a tiny kitchen into just a lovely space that is not the least bit claustrophobic. Aesthetically, all the proportions of things throughout the condo are spot-on, and at the same time the space is remarkably functional. I had some idiosyncratic design needs, partially related to getting on in age and the need to maximize storage, and Rowan and his team made them work beautifully. PP staff consulted me regularly to make sure my needs were being met despite being under tight time pressures. Our job had to be rescheduled after being delayed due to covid shut-downs in our building, but Rowan made us a priority as soon as we got the go ahead despite PP’s other commitments. Rowan and all his staff worked very hard to meet the time limitations set by our condo management, and throughout the project the whole PP team were courteous, professional, resourceful, and very attentive to detail. All were a real pleasure to work with. So often in the past with smaller jobs and other contractors I have found over time that corners were cut, but, in contrast, I keep finding little things that show the extra care that was taken to ensure a high level of quality. I would recommend Purple Properties without hesitation. We never imagined living in such a beautiful home, thanks to everyone at PP!

We have dealt with other contracting companies in the past and Purple Properties was by far the best company we have worked with! Our ensuite bathroom project with Purple Properties went so smoothly and efficiently. Rowan and his team were always in communication with us. There was full transparency between us and we always knew what to expect. The workmen were always courteous, prompt and clean and tidy. At our house we love to entertain family and friends and while we have a good size backyard it definitely needed help. There as a tree that died and needed to be removed to open up the space and I lost the war with the weeds that were growing through the existing interlocking. We definitely needed professional help.
I made a rough sketch and explained my vision to Rowan, he took it and made it a reality. Edgar and his team (Caleb, Carlos, Geo and Josh) had solutions for any obstacles that arose. They were awesome to work with.
