As an interior designer, I've been working with Mario for several years. Mario and his crew are always so pleasant to work with. I appreciate their respect and honesty to my clients, their high standard of work and attention to detail. Mario and his crew are easy to communicate with and are always able to adapt to the inevitable changes or surprises that come up during renovations. I look forward to more projects with Mario in the future.

The workmanship in the renovation is superb. Work done in a timely fashion and when a couple tweaks after the reno had to be done, Mario or his crew came back to do more work very quickly.

The team did fantastic work on my condo renovations. The worked seamlessly with the designer and condo superintendent. Site was always tidy and they were respectful of my time and work commitments. They were always prompt in responding to my questions and perhaps what I valued the most is their proactive thinking around solutions to surprises that always come up with renovations. The final product is beautiful. Would absolutely work with them again!

We had a diy project from previous owners that needed full removal; new up-to code insulation and electrical as well as completion. Laundry room; 2 large rec rooms and shortening footprint of electrical. Everything looks so wonderful, painting, flooring; stairs. We had a lot of ductwork that was different levels; they did a super job to minimize bulkheads and make everything look uniform and sleek. They covered the pole in the middle to make it look like a feature and the tiny basement windows were angled in to allow more natural light. Everything looks so bright and fresh! We are beyond ecstatic and love the basement!

Mario and his team came this year after we started to notice water in our basement, upon inspection he recommended water proofing our foundation and after shopping around it was determined that Home Improvement offered the best price.

Mario and his crew showed up the next day to start the work (which was a Wednesday) and by Friday everything was completed and clean up.

I would highly recommended this team for water proofing as they did an amazing job, where easy to work with and left no mess.

We needed our basement finished for some extra living space for our daughter. We got several quotes and decided on Home Improvements. We felt very comfortable working with them from the moment we met and throughout the entire project. From the layout and design, to picking finishes, colours and materials, there experience and expertise really showed, and they walked us through every step and answered all our questions. They kept the basement clean and organized throughout the project. We could not be happier! I cannot recommend them enough, we will be using Home Improvements Skilled Trades for all of our future projects.

My old windows were in dire need of an update, and Home Improvements was recommended to me by my neighbor. They came and took measurements, and gave me the price that evening. I agreed and had the windows ordered, and two weeks later they were installed. They look and perform amazing, sealed perfectly! No drafts or air coming through, insulated all around very well. I'm very happy with the work. Will definitely call them back for my next project.

Had them build me a new deck on the front of my house. Extremely satisfied with the work, especially the stairs and railings everything looks great! Very polite and professional, and they kept the yard and driveway so clean and tidy throughout the project, very organized. I'll be calling them back for my next project for sure.

Last spring when the snow melted, my basement flooded. Home improvements came highly recommended from a friend who went through a flooded basement a few years prior, and I'm glad I went with them. Mario was able to meet me the same day I called and assured me that everything would be taken care of. The clean up started the following day, and the waterproofing was completed a few days later. I had them refinish the basement and I couldn't be happier. The flooring, trim work, pot lights, everything looks absolutely perfect!

They were polite, professional, organized, finished the work quicker than I expected and kept everything clean and tidy throughout the entire project. I was very pleased with the entire process.

We asked Mario to fix a water leak problem and do a few other renovation jobs in our basement. Before he started he assured us that the work was under warranty. Also I asked him to give us a quote and make sure we won't go beyond the agreed cost since we had a fixed budget. But on the first day of the project he surprised me with some structural problems that he had found costing us over ten thousand dollars more than the original quote and he pressured me to give him a response on the spot. I asked him to stop the work and brought a home inspector to get a second opinion. Not surprisingly most of the work that Mario has suggested wasn't essential to do at all. I asked Mario to only finish the water proofing work that he had started. A few days after the completion of the work, after a rainy day we noticed that the floor in some sections was wet again and talking with other contractors after, they raised concerns around the low height of the membrane that he had installed. I asked Mario to come and take a look. He finally showed up but pretty much came up with any excuse possible not to fix the pretty obvious issues with his work and finally got more and more belligerent and left the house. Pretty awful experience overall.
