Tip Top Trough

We read up about Tip Top Trough here on Homestars and decided to contact them for an estimate on my eavestrough that was badly hanging off the front of my house. I wasn’t positive it could be salvaged but after talking with Pierce I was confident it could be. I hired his company to do the work and we have not had a problem since. Pierce was friendly, knowledgeable and provided a repair service that most companies would try to turn into a full replacement. I've already recommended Tip Top Trough to others!

I originally hired Pierce and his company Tip Top Trough to provide a quote on a variety of small repairs on my old house. While I had a few companies quote on the work I decided on Tip Top Trough because of their professionalism and detailed estimate. I am glad that I did because they solved our problems and did not experience any problems afterwards. Since then we have moved into another house and it would only make sense that there be issues at the new house as well. With a new baby and new house to worry about I am glad I didn’t have to worry about who I would call to do the work. I knew I would call Pierce at Tip Top Trough because he did a great job last time. He came by quickly to provide an estimate and the decision to hire him was easy. When they came to do the work, I was not home. I received a call from Pierce saying that there had been a mix up on the color of the new downpipe and while it was replaced he said they would need to return to install the proper color. It wasn’t even a week before they returned and replaced the downpipe with the proper color. It is a pleasure to deal with a company like Tip Top Trough that consistently delivers great customer service and professionalism from one year to the next. Thanks Pierce!

The guys at Tip Top Trough made quick work of my eavestrough problem. It had come away from my roof. They not only got it back well attached, but alerted me to some earlier work that had been done poorly before we bought the house. No one else we’ve had work on our roof has ever been so proactive in warning us – and indicating with photos – of a potential problem that will need attention in future.
And, only a few days after Pierce had fixed the eavestrough problem, we had one of the heaviest downpours of the season. I was delighted, when I checked, to see that now all the water was going where it was supposed to go!

I called Tip Top Trough to provide an estimate on eavestrough cleaning and leaf screen installation. Pierce came and provided an estimate which I accepted. We arranged to have the work done but something came up and I had to put the job on hold. Pierce was professional about the situation and when we were ready to start, he fit us in without too long of a wait. Because I have copper eavestrough on part of my house, Tip Top Trough clearly explained the requirements for the leaf screen and the difference between the aluminum and steel types (which is what any good contractor will take the time to do) Since the job was complete we have had no issues with our eavestrough and the new leaf screen on the copper looks great! Highly recommend them to anyone who wants a real contractor to work with!

Pierce from Tip Top Troughs came by promptly and gave a quote. We had a couple of quotes and Pierce ended up giving the best quote, and along with the positive reviews on Homestars it made picking his team easy. He gave a timeline for when the job would be started and he was right on time. The team that came were great and they completed the job to perfection. Several years ago during a particularly long and harsh renovation, we hired Pierce to replace our Eaves and found him and his company to be a real gem in comparison to the many other contractors we were meeting then. Tip Top Trough were fast, clean and polite. Back then, we chose to only repair the fascia even knowing it was a temporary fix.
We were very happy with their work so, this spring when it was obvious the fascia needed replacing, I did not hesitate to call Pierce. This time we had them replace the fascia and clean the eaves. Due to the safety hazard the damaged fascia presented, Pierce did his best to fit us in asap. Even though several years have past Tip Top Trough has maintained the same level of excellence they had when we first hired them. I have and will continue to recommended them to family and friends.

I contacted Pierce to come and privide me an estimate for replacing a damaged downpipe in my front walkway. Pierce came by promptly to do an estimate and conveniently emailed a clearly written estimate via email. He also followed up a couple of times via phone calls and we decide to hire his company. They came by and replaced the old downpipe with a new larger downpipe and were able to match the color exactly. The job looks great and we are very happy. While it hasn't rained much since they did the job, I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again since they did a good job at a good price.

We couldnt find anyone to clean our old 3 storey house until we contacted Tip Top Trough. They we ready and able to get up high and clean our eavestroughs. They did such a good job we naturally called them back to clean the eavestroughs at our newe home. Pierce also recommended changing a downpipe that ran across our basement windows to the back of our house and the new downpipe works great! They are easy to deal with and even scheduled the job around my sons nap time.

Our down pipe came detached from our house in a wicked wind storm. I had Pierce come by to give an estimate while I was at work. He gave a fair price. The job was pretty straightforward but they did a great job, making sure to match the straps to the existing eaves trough. Piercewas easy to communicate with over email, which was a pleasant surprise given my past experiences.
