We recently hired Arby Cartage Inc. to complete our move to our new house. Arby Cartage Inc. was highly recommended by my Aunt and my sister and brother in law who had just used them for their move and raved about them.

We dealt with Anil who came our house by to give us a quote, he went through the entire house, room by room to ensure a fair and suitable quote was given. The quote he gave us was extremely fair and based on his great personality and honest approach coupled with the reviews from family we decided to give Arby Cartage our business.

The move was schedule at 9:00 am , but Anil and Truck #1 came 15-20 minutes early and started setting up, Truck #2 came shortly after and the guys went to work... they had my house packed up in just over 2 hours and 15 minutes!! Not only were they fast, they were also extremely careful and the crew was extremely personable, professional and hardworking.

They moved all of stuff into our new home in just over 2 hours and 30 minutes, and made sure that all the items were placed in the proper rooms and even helped set up bedframes and cribs!!!

Before they left, Anil and his crew made sure we were happy where the furniture was placed and wanted to know if we wanted anything moved before they left.

Anil and his crew made the moving experience so great, it reduced our stress and we would highly recommend them for any moving job.

I have already recommended Arby Cartage to friends looking for movers. They were punctual, friendly, and professional. My dining room table would not fit through the front or back door so they found a creative solution for getting it into the house. With all of the stress associated with moving, I was grateful to Arby Cartage for making our move run so smoothly.

I can't put into words how great Anil, Trevor and Rudy were the day we moved. They took all the stress out of a normally very stressful day. They showed up early on the day of our move and did not take a break until the job was done. Everything was moved into our new home without one scratch. They were also some of the most courteous men we have ever met. I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any one.

Arby and his assistance arrived early (please keep this in mind, Arby likes to be early, and this might mess up some people schedules) for me this was great. He help get my condo evelevator set up and started the move, they worked hard and took care of my valuables. We had to make a side trip to a locker and they help me with the side trip and quickly moved my stuff. Move into the house was quick and stress free. They even help place my furnature in the right places. They did a great good for us.

I have heard many horror stories of people and their moves. I found Arby Cartage online and decided to try them based on the reviews I read on them. Let me say they are everything they claim. They were punctual, friendly, efficient and made my move as easy as any move i've ever made. Everything was done under the expected time, quickly with no hassle, no damage, nothing but quick friendly service.
I am about to recommend them this morning to a friend of mine who is moving at the end of the month.

Arby & his assistant arrived at our apartment about 10 min late but called to let us know of the traffic delays. They made our move from East York to Whitby very smooth and were more than 50% cheaper than other quotes we had received. No furniture casualties, I noticed a medium size scratch on my new console table but you always expect a dent here or there when moving. We have already referred our friends Sarah and John to Arby Cartage and they have great things to say as well.

We can highly recommend this family run business. execellent on time, professionaly, run company. Not nessessary to write more.

My wife and I recently moved, and used Arby Cartage based solely on the experiences of others on Homestars. From start to finish, they exceeded even our highest expectations. From the initial estimate by Arby (which turned out to be PRECISELY what we ended up paying), to the day of the move itself, it would have been impossible to complain about even the smallest detail. Anil and his crew arrived early and worked tirelessly. Every item that required extra care was wrapped in protective blankets. Stairs and railings were always protected. They were friendly and courteous at all times. At the end of the move, not a single item was damaged or broken. I simply cannot recommend them any more highly. Family members said it best when they said that for the service we got, and the speed with which it was performed, you simply cannot do it any better (or any cheaper) by yourself.

If you are considering a moving company, and have read this and all the reviews above, ask yourself, "Why am I not calling Arby Cartage right now?"!

We've used these guys twice, and both times they've been terrific. Once to move stuff into storage (much larger move) and then to move stuff out (smaller). They've done everything I've asked them to and more -- no attitude - very customer oriented. They came when they said they would, and finished faster than I thought they could. They aren't the cheapest out there, but for a very reasonable price, you get great service. No wall divots or scrapes, and they helped me put some things back together, too.

Anil and Arby seem to have a very customer-oriented attitude. When booking the move, Arby suggested a 16 ft. truck and I explained that I was very nervous about getting a truck that was too small because of two bad past experiences. Arby said something like "I don't want us to be one of those bad experiences -- let's make it 24 ft.". No need to convince him it was needed or justify it. (In the end, I think it was needed but I'm not sure. There was still room in the truck but it didn't seem like very much.)

Our move was done by Anil (a partner?) and another guy whose name I've forgotten. As far as I could see, both worked almost non-stop for the entire 7.5 hours without the long break mid-way that I've seen other movers take. Anil, in particular, impressed me by his cheerful, helpful attitude for the entire time.

I was a bit disappointed by the amount of time it took for the move but I think I just underestimated the time needed to go down long hallways and use the elevators in both buildings (one of which was quite small and slow).

The only negative thing I can say is that they arrived 45 minutes early. I suppose some people wouldn't mind that but it made an already stressful day a bit more stressful. But of course, that is better than being 45 minutes late.
