We were looking to build a country style home and knew that Rijus had the knowledge and experience that we needed. The experience was great! We were serviced mostly by Jason, but his father Richard would also provide his opinion and expertise. Together they made a great team and provided us with a great product. They provided guidance and advice when requested and also had a good understanding of current trends and style so that we can maximize the utilization of our home from a functional and aesthetic point of view. - I liked that Rijus also looked after the HVAC designs for us (included in price above). This enabled a "theoretical" seamless integration of HVAC needs with that of the house design. That being said, not all hurdles can always be eliminated as the actual building is different in real life at times than on paper. As a result the HVAC plan called for certain runs that were in reality where there was a beam, but not necessarily on paper - its just the 'fun stuff' that needs to be addressed during the actual building phase. It is still a very worthwhile exercise, because these problems likely would have only been exasperated had the HVAC design been done separately and after the plans were drawn, as there would have likely been more complexity in integrating the two plans - which are for very different purposes.
