I recently contracted Speers Flooring to upgrade remove all ceramic tile, parquet flooring and old carpeting throughout a recently purchased 25 year old, 1200 square foot condo, and install new “Torlys” laminate (hardwood) flooring. I couldn’t be more pleased with the efficiency and quality of the removal of the old flooring and the installation of the new flooring. My dealings with Speer Flooring (Greg Adams) was excellent, he stood by his quote and did the job on time, and his removal/installation team (Randy and Kyle) workmanship was excellent. In the spring my husband and I purchased a home in Burlington to accommodate our summer time transfer from BC to Ontario. We wanted to remove the existing laminate and tile, and install hardwood prior to the arrival of our furniture. With us working on a specific timeline with only a few pictures and memory, Greg Adams, Project Coordinator, with Speers Flooring was extremely patience, professional and helpful as we updated the flooring while living five provinces away! I am especially thankful to Greg for his keen eye and recommendation of a small amount of additional work that we had completely over looked and that masterfully completes the look of our home.

We were visiting friends in Mississauga recently and commented on their beautiful hardwood floors. They informed us that they were purchased and installed by Speers Flooring located in Oakville.
Before visiting Speers, we had been to four other flooring stores about hardwood installation, but were not impressed with their unenthusiastic attitude, and they seemed to try to push sale items onto us instead of listening to our needs. However, the staff at Speers Flooring showed enthusiasm, great product knowledge and efficiency. Greg Adams, our flooring consultant, answered all our numerous questions with great patience. We had no previous experience with hardwood flooring . The installers, Andre and Remi, were punctual, efficient and courteous to us, and the completed floor looked fabulous.
We would highly recommend Speers Flooring to anyone who is interested in having a job WELL DONE. We look forward to our next project with them.

I wanted to let you know that Dave and I are very happy with all aspects of the installation at our house and our dealings with Speers Flooring. Everything was handled with the utmost of professionalism and you and your team were very responsive when we had questions. Brian and Justin did an outstanding job installing the tile. They showed up each day either on time or early, and the job was completed exactly when you said it would be, and the floor looks fantastic – we love it! I don’t think we’ve ever had work done on our house that has had so many variables and has gone so smoothly. A very big thank you to you and your team.

I could not pass an opportunity to discuss with you, the incredible example[s] of customer service and [professionalism] that have been part of every contact between my wife and I and your organization.
From the outset I knew we were in the right place as no fewer than three sales associates approached us as we struggled through dozens and dozens of samples.
“Matthew” explained that we could “sign out” samples – a marketing idea that I subsequently learned is common practice in the industry – and it only took three visits to make my wife happy!
Documents were prepared, the work was scheduled and the tile setters – Dod and Renaud [spelling indeterminate] arrived with the necessary inventory and equipment These two characters could make a living on stage! The work proceeded at an excellent pace, but the laughter never stopped…..and the finished product is just plain superb!
I asked that the installers take on a small job involving cementing soap dishes to two shower walls…a simple matter we thought, and arrangements were made to pick up dishes and a glue gun deemed necessary for the job. Your employee Greg Adams apparently travelled to his home to obtain a glue gun for the project!
The dishes were installed and all seemed well until, moments later, the dishes clattered to the floor and disintegrated! [the glue used wasn’t hot enough and failed]
Dod and his son arranged with Greg for new dishes, and Dod devised a method of installing “cookies” that connected the dishes to the walls, and returned on a Sunday, to install the dishes permanently!
No amount of persuasion would permit the tile setters to accept anything but a handshake!
Greg wrapped up the paperwork a day later and saw to it that the tile setters were fairly compensated for their exemplary service.

We had Speers Flooring remove old flooring / carpets and install tile in kitchen, laundry, powder room and hardwood floors throughout the main floor. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with. From the onset, Greg our Speers flooring consultant / project manager, was extremely helpful, providing knowledgeable advice and was very patient with our many showroom visits and sample requests. He then worked with us throughout the installation, providing expert advice and installation coordination. Their teams were very professional, paid attention to detail, friendly, always on-time, cleaned up, and finished earlier than forecasted. Both tile and hardwood floors were installed with precision by very skilled teams. They were very flexible, navigating around other vendor’s delays and schedules. All of the designers, planners at Speers work as a team filling in for each other as required, so there is always someone to talk to should an issue arises. After hearing many horror stories it was a relief to have this go so flawlessly. I would definitely not hesitate to recommend Speers Flooring.
