Easy Moving Toronto

We moved two apartments to a house with trans moving. Yuri was helpful and accommodating on the phone.
Our first move was a small studio. It was the end of the day, the crue was late, but did phone to let us know. The team consisted of three guys. It took about 3 hrs. Total cost wast $500 including a $20 tip for each guy. They did an ok job. Spoke limited english,(which makes it's tricky to follow instructions) they didn't exactly put me at ease.They asked for more of a tip which was a bit unprofessional. left a few beer bottles on the sidewalk when the left. I was a bit put off by this but my partner reminded me it was hard work, and the end of the day.

Our second move was a small 2 bdrm apartment. The team: two Men. Eugene was wonderful, well-mannerd, well-spoken, a great organizer, both guys worked very hard. Everything went smoothly. If we had to move again we would ask for Eugene. He seemed experienced and trustworthy as did his work mate, we didn't catch his name. The move took about 3 hrs. The total cost was $400, including a $50 tip to each guy.

I contacted mighy movers and they returned my call the same day to arrange pricing, scheduling etc. - and were extremly flexible/able to meet my needs. They arrived on time to my house and had no problems loading everything and taking directions. Seemed like extremly nice, normal guys unlike your typical movers. Everything was delivered seamlessly - we had no issues, which I thought was surprsingly as I always dreaded dealing with moving companies in the past. I dont plan on moving again for a long time! But If I had to - these are the guys I would call.

I hired Trans movers to move my 2bdr apt in Dallas, they have affordable prices and I got excellent service. The movers were very polite and careful with my furniture, which they padded and shrink wrapped.I evern got my washer and dryer disconnected and reconnected for free. The vehicle was nice and clean and they brought tools to help move the furniture. I am very happy with their services and definetly recommend Trans moving company

I recently moved with Trans movingToronto and my move was amazing. They were fast efficent and very professional. I was more then satisfied with their packing and moving capabilities. I ended up not having enough time to pack all of my inventory and had a few extra items, they packed and wrapped these items perfectly loaded them on the truck and cleaned up everything. When they arrived at my home they unloaded everything put it where it belonged and even helped take some items to a local donation drop off. I am 1000% satisfied with this company and recommened them to anyone looking for a professional and personable company that does'nt only offer great service but all with a eco friendly touch! I love the Transmoving aspect! Spread this companies name They are Fantastic and we all really need to use them!

Where do I start? Do I start with the damaged furniture, the smashed/damages walls in my new home, or the over-charging?

Firstly I paid for 5 mattress bags (an additional charge that they insisted they collect) and insisted on the movers using them (I had paid for them), however the movers insisted that box springs did not need mattress bags because they are wrapped in blanket in the truck. Even though I had paid for these bags and insisted the men use them, they did not and they did not wrap my box springs in the truck, but dragged them along the bottom on the truck. Two mattresses (the unwrapped ones) are putrid (black with dirt and grease) where they were not wrapped and dragged through the truck. Of course this should not have happened because I paid an additional fee for the plastic bags to protect my mattresses. Now I have to pay to have them cleaned professionally.

Secondly, the movers did not have a clue what they were doing. How difficult is it to carry a floor lamp up a flight of stairs without hitting it on the wall, floor, roof? For the average person, a 2kg floor lamp is not difficult to carry up a flight of stairs, for these 'professional movers' it was one of the hardest tasks. My 4 floor lamps are smashed, my walls are testament. You can imagine the state of the rest of my furniture. Let me just say that care and concern of my freshly painted walls in my new home were merely a suggestion and they used them as bumpers. I even have ships out of the ceiling from their carelessness. I ask you what were they doing with my furniture that there are paint chips out of the ceiling? Needless-to-say, I now have to match paint (how will I do this?) to touch-up the walls in my new home.

Finally, despite confirmation of all charges in writing (we usually call this a quote), all of a sudden fees were thrown at me out of the blue when it was time to pay. Of course, they had my furniture as ransom so I had no choice but to pay. My written quote included 5% tax, the movers wanted 13%, they dropped it to 5% when I showed them my quote (very suspicious me thinks). I paid nearly $200 in charges above the written quotation. And then the movers (see damage above) had the audacity to tell me it was normal to tip them (there were 3 movers) 20% of the move total *each*... Do the math, that works out to be almost as much as the move itself if I am tipping 3 people 20% each. I don't think so (see damage above). They got 20% tip (I wanted them *out* of my house ASAP) of the move cost (not any of the additional fuel/truck etc fees) pre-tax, to split between themselves.

Repeated contact with the company owner to try to rectify my concerns have been ignored.

Avoid this moving company at all costs.

Ever had a move out of a place with a lot of friends who pledged their assistance and then suddenly that number dwindles to two? And this is a move that really needed a lot of extra hands and a big truck. This was the situation that I and my wife found ourselves in over Thanksgiving weekend, when we had to move from a 2-bedroom apartment into a house in Toronto Jan 26. TRANS MOVING was recommended to us by the many reviews found, so I wanted to add my own. Because of our limited assistance and lack of proper transport, we contacted and spoke to Victoria (who was exceptionally helpful and very friendly over the phone). She set us up with an appointment the day after Thanksgiving, for a 2-man crew Yuri and his associate showed up promptly at the designated time. They did a brief walk-through to determine how to proceed, and once they determined which rooms should go first, they were very efficient. They moved out all the big items, including a very unwieldy and huge L-shaped desk of mine, in less than two hours. Having had negative experiences with other moving companies, we were very impressed with TRANS MOVING. I highly recommend this company to my friends, and to my fellow readers. Reasonable rates, hard-working and caring movers, all-around pleasant experience to deal with and I would wholeheartedly use them again should I need to move to another place.

I have hired them because I saw they have good reviews on here. However, I think most good reviews here were left by their employees or their company friends.
They have charged at least $200 dollar extra. I trusted them too much at the time, and did not check the bill, even gave them 15% tip :(
One box full of expensive things (including Christmas gifts I suppose to give to family members)went missing. The values of that box is over $600.
They refuse to give out GST number after over 10 phone conversations, which is public information according to Canada Revenue Agency. This means they are probably scamming the government on tax by not claiming their company revenue.
Overall, they are not a legitimate bussiness. Warning!!!!

These guys provide the best service you can ever ask for, they treat your belongings with respect they wrap everything and make sure its delivered safely.

Tim and his guys did an amazing job moving us from Brampton to Mississauga. The arrived on time and ready to work. They were very polite and friendly and got the job done! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs movers in the future!
