Easy Moving Toronto

I Have used Trans Moving twice and also recommended them for my sister's move. In spite of previous opinions in my case everything was smooth.In all three instances; their movers were prompt, efficient and hard workers. I was promised three men for each job, and actually had four for one without incurring any additional charges. Nothing was damaged, not even a nick or a scrape, and all boxes were put into the appropriate rooms. They even offered to set up my bed, something I would have had to do on my own. Not only did they do an excellent job, with everything, you can't beat the price. I would highly recommend this company and I already have for family and friends.

Unprofessional. The movers were 3 hours late, they bribed us upon arrival because we had a 2nd floor apartment, and it took them twice as long as it should have to get to the new apartment (which we were on the clock for). Overall a very bad experience, they were slow and not very professional. An estimated 300 dollar move cost 800 in the end. I'll never higher movers again.

While I found the delivery drivers and movers very quick and helpful, I would advise caution when dealing with the Manager, Yuri.
I called up to get a verbal quote as I had a small, last minute job (moving some furniture, less than 1 hour). Yuri said they could accomodate my request and said the charge would be $64 per hour. What he failed to mention was that there was a 3 hr minimum charge, that there was a $64 transportation fee and that fuel would be extra. My $100 bed ended up costing me $260 in delivery!!!

My advise- get all costs upfront!

Well, i read some of the reviews on here, and i have to say that i find it a bit hard to believe. the guys moved me pretty quick.I highly recommend Trans Movers! From the time I made the first phone call to get our quote to the moment they left us at our new home (after moving us in less time than quoted!), these guys were nothing but professional and courteous. The crew was well-organized, fast and super nice. There were no surprises; everything went smoothly and we were completely satisfied with their service.

We had Michael and Allan help us with our move from a North York condo to our new house in Stouffville. We were a little nervous at first because it was our first big move and we had heard horror stories about some pretty bad experiences, but the minute Michael and Allan showed up and started working, we felt at ease. They were on time and very professional, courteous and friendly. They went over the costs with us, which were exactly as had been quoted at the beginning. We had many boxes (some open with random objects we had thrown in at the last minute), some heavy furniture, bikes, tall lamps and many bags of clothes. Our move actually took twice the amount of time we had originally planned (our fault, we didn't think the condo elevator would slow us down that much), but they worked steadily throughout the whole time to ensure that they got the job done. Nothing ended up broken or misplaced, and they followed our instructions on where to put everything in the house. The owner, Yuri, was also pleasant to deal with and answered my questions promptly. I would definitely use them again in another move and have recommended them to a friend of ours who is moving in the near future. Thanks guys!!

6/28/2010 I was incredibly impressed with my Trans movers guys!
I chose them because of their wonderful reviews on here, and all the reviews are right. I have a ton of breakables , so I let them know off the bat that they needed to be careful. They were incredibly efficient... finished my move earlier than the quoted time, which meant less money than the quote.
There was one small casualty with this particle-board shelf thing I had. It was something cheap from target and I'm not surprised it would break on the way down 4 flights of stairs (no elevator!). While the loss wasn't too important for me, they were incredibly nice and professional about dealing with the break. They didn't just shove my stuff in the truck and pretend it didn't happen, but made sure I knew and that everything was ok.

I tipped the guys like 40% because I had already budgeted out what they quoted me and then some, and I was so impressed with their speed, tetris skills and diploma

These guys arrived on time and worked hard for the entire move. Very happy overall with the move. The rates are good.

Only problem was with their business practices.
-There is a $30 fuel charge that is apparently charged to some customers and not to others. Charge it or don't.
-4% credit card convenience fee came up at the last minute.
-They were generous to themselves on the start and finish times.
-Asked for tips in exchange to move heavy items. Contract stated all items included. We would have given a better tip if we felt it wasn't extorted.

Good movers. Just watch for shaddy business practices that might cost the lazy customer extra $$$$.

I hope to not have to move again for a very long time, but if I did, I would definitely use Trans movers again. They arrived on time and cheerfully dealt with all the issues of double parking since there was no space around where I lived. I was moving from a fifth-floor walk-up to an elevator building (thank goodness), and the two of them worked tirelessly to move my stuff down the stairs. The move still took 5 hours but I never saw them taking a break or slowing down during that entire time.

They were careful with my furniture as well. I was worried my mattress would get dirty since When we moved, they knew exactly where to place everything without me being there (I had to stay with the double-parked van to avoid getting ticketed).

Their prices were fair, my stuff was delivered in original condition, and they were nice people. I would definitely use them again.

I worked with Yuri on my move couple weeks ago and i have to say, i was pretty impressed with their quality of work. they came off as extremely professional and made sure the move was scheduled properly. we talked a couple times over the phone to fix some problems here and there but everything got sorted out pretty quick. when moishes actually got to my apartment, they went straight to work. i would say they worked very diligently and efficient. all my belongings in my house were wrapped, taped up, and then out the door in a second. it was obvious that these guys were well experienced in what they did which relieved me a little cause it showed that moishes was pretty promising. in the end, i had a great move and i was very happy with how everything turned out.

5 star movers!! Trans- Moving did a fine job with our move within the Toronto area. We had them pack and move our 3 bedroom home. They arrived on time. The movers are very professional. They exceeded my expectations. They took exceptional care of my furniture. Everything was properly warped.Nothing was scratched or damaged. The movers were very gentle with the fragile items. They took their time to explain rates and there were no hidden fees. I was worried about hidden costs and was pleasantly surprised when the price was exactly what I was quoted. Would highly recommend using them?
