The team was very professional, completed the work in a timely manner and were flexible with our request to paint the space ourselves.
Their attention to detail was very appreciated as well as their flexibility in installing the bathroom fixtures that we purchased for the space. They were very efficient in planning and execution of taking down a major load bearing wall.
Another concern of ours (with little ones and dust allergies) was dust coming up to the rest of the house. Mike and the crew were conscious of this and took measures to ensure it was kept to a minimum.

We would first like to thank Mike and team for their hard work and overall professionalism. This was our first major renovation and we had interviewed over 10 contractors in our search, Mike stood out clearly above the rest. From the first consultation to the final touches his knowledge and attention to detail were just what we needed. There was never any pressure and he made sure to give us all of our options without trying to "sell" us. For example out of the 10 contractors we interviewed about knocking out the wall for the basement stairs Mike was the only one that actually advised us that he would need an engineer to inspect to ensure it would be done properly and gave us all of the options. Some of the other answers we received to this request from other contractors ranged from "of course" to "ya ya ya no problem" to "no you cant do that". Our job was quite large and included spray foam installation, duct relocating, as well as gas line/ rough in relocations. I can tell you that this was another area where Mike really showed his high level understanding of not only incredible design but functionality. I would say in hindsight Mike's idea around the duct relocation and custom wet bar design were the best investments we made, and I would fully recommend to anyone doing a basement to add duct relocation to their budget. His pricing for this part of the job was very reasonable and now that the job is finished I really see the benefit. We also really enjoyed being able to control our budget through sourcing our own fixtures, Mike has a very deep network of suppliers and was able to direct us to a very very reasonable supplier in Markham for our bathroom.

Overall the pictures tell the story, having a finished space in the winter for our kids will be really enjoyable. While 310 was not the cheapest option they were certainly not the most expensive, and the end result was exceptional high end finishes that our family can enjoy with confidence for many years to come. If you are in the market for a basement renovation, and want it done on time and on budget call 310 and ask for Mike, trust me I did my homework, no one else comes close.

We required a significant second floor renovation to a city home built around 1924. This included gutting the bathroom and rebuilding it with new tiling, plumbing, vanity and a glassed-in shower area. Work also involved redesigning a large, walk in closet, creating another new closet, new hardwood throughout, wall and ceiling repair and new flooring on main floor.

310 Reno came on time to the estimate and came back with a reasonable cost for the whole work. I liked their Home Stars reviews and the estimate so we agreed to the work.

It was expected to take a couple of months and they were on time with completion. Work on the job was also steady. They did not leave us to work on other jobs. We always had someone around. A few extras were added and they were reasonable in price and incorporated them within their work and timeline.

They helped with the design of both closets and with the bathroom and it turned out lovely. The tradesmen were very respectful, skilled and open to suggestions. Their work was solid and they cleaned up each day. During demolition there was considerable debris in our backyard and they had it all cleaned up within a day.

The quality of the workmanship was excellent and the materials were also of high quality. As an example, they installed thick plywood underlay under the hardwood which also interlocked for strength. This served to strengthen the whole upper floor and there are no squeaks or movement anywhere.

When I had any questions, Mike was always there to provide information and to arrange for materials and the labour.

When you engage a contractor it's a significant relationship and we've been very happy with 310Reno, pricing, advice, quality of the work, cleanliness, and completion time. All promises were kept.

We love living in this beautiful space now, and we have more functionality than before. I strongly recommend 310Reno for renovations.

310 Reno has worked on virtually every area of our home, over a 6 month period and on a wide variety of projects. Our home was in bad need of repair and we had a long unstructured wish list ranging from minor repairs to full gut and redo. Dom and his team worked with us through: two bathroom renovations; side porch, back porch and pergola build; basement drywall rip out and foundation repair; laundry room reno; attic repairs; roof repairs; siding; eves-troughs. As well as all the unexpected obstacles that naturally occur when dealing with an 80+ year old house. All resulting in stunning work that is truly Houzz worthy.

After seeing great reviews on Homestars we called 310-RENO for a quote on renovating 3 of our bathrooms. We found them to be professional and more knowledgeable than others we compared against. Their price was also the best. They sent a team of very skilled professionals to our home. What an excellent job they did! We were absolutely thrilled with the outcome of their work. We selected very high end materials and they made it look better than the showrooms we'd seen! We really couldn't be happier with how things worked out. They even came back and addressed minor issues after the fact and did so in a very timely manner. I highly recommend 310-RENO, you won't be disappointed.

310-reno did an outstanding job, taking an unused bedroom/closet and extending our bathroom and constructing a walk in closet. They designed the entire project and finished it in the time they said. Dom made sure everything was up to our standards. We recommend them completely

[EDIT] 310 did make good on the promise below to send someone back to fix things. The work were more extensive than we expected, but we're very pleased with the final result. The shower tiling was redone and looks much better, plus a nice backsplash was added. The plumbing was redone as well and everything looks good. Our renovation didn’t fit with the bulk of the reviews here, and it’s difficult to understand why our job went sideways. While it’s clear that 310 does have a vast amount of experience, we saw neither expertise nor care during the execution of our project. Originally the contract to gut and renovate the bathroom was estimated at 2-3 weeks. By the end, we called it a day at 8 weeks, but we’re still finding things that weren’t done, or were done poorly. I think the main problem was that there was no planning stage; planning being the stage where we discuss what the final product is, and is separate from the contract stage where we discuss what major items the job includes. We brought this up, but were told the job was really too small to require it. In the beginning it proceeded well with good communication and while progress was slow, we were happy. However, by the time it got to finishing, things went south very quickly. Items we’d carefully selected and paid good money for weren’t shown care, items were broken (replaced by 310, but having to be special ordered), and the lack of a good plan became really evident. We did communicate with the 310 mothership, but the course did not change. My own assessment is it got to a point that no one was happy about the job and because of that we were getting poor work. The final product looks good at a glance, as you can see in the pictures, because we spent good time and money choosing nice fixtures and cabinetry to go in. However the installation finishes are lacking. Mosaic tiles are crooked, grout is cracked, caulking is peeling (applied to dirty surfaces?).

We hired 310 hoping that by contracting an all in one rather than hiring the trades individually we’d get them as a first line of defense in quality control and a central location for expertise. It would have been cheaper to hire the trades individually, but the spread over this would have been worth it if the job was well supervised and had a good outcome. This was not the case, and there was a lot of shortcomings. Vent fans were blowing attic insulation into the bathroom. Cabinet doors drilled and installed backwards (after a long discussion to get them installed at all). Each of these is a small item for me to fix, but it’s frustrating to have to do so after shelling out 12K on labour in a small bathroom. Things like the crooked mosaic tiles may never get fixed. As I said, I was happy with the first half of the job, but it’s the second half that sits visibly on the surface.

We’ve always done careful research in deciding on a contractor and have never had this type of experience. Contrary to most of the reviews here, I don’t think we saw anything approaching what should be expected for this kind of money.
