Buyer Beware...By far one of the worst kitchen installation experiences and companies I have ever encountered.

When signing on with Lucvaa, we left a $20000 deposit in October 2020 and we were promised that our kitchen would be finished by the middle of December 2020 which turned out not to be true as our kitchen was finally finalized on March 21 2021 and it took 3 aggravating months of phone calls, emails, escalations, complaining etc. to get them back to finish everything they were supposed to. The only reason why we chose Lucvaa for our kitchen was because they promised to deliver and finalize the installation of our cabinets by the middle of December, and this was important to us as it would allow us to move into our new home on time (we actually paid Lucvaa more than the other companies we received quotes from but our timeline superseded the additional cost that Lucvaa was charging so we decided to proceed). Let me start by saying I should have just waited for the other kitchen company I used in the past and saved myself some money and aggravation as they were much more attentive, realistic and professional in every aspect and less expensive as well.

It all went downhill on the day the kitchen installation was supposed to start. I was advised two days before installation started that the remaining balance of the payment was expected on the delivery date of the kitchen (prior to the completion of installation might I add) and when I mentioned I had a problem with that and that I would pay the balance upon completion, the owner immediately cancelled the delivery of the kitchen, advised his installer to pack his tools and go home. My jaw dropped to the ground as soon as I heard that. Then that was followed by arguing and a yelling match about company policies that we were never made aware of and that only benefit Lucvaa and their pockets and their timelines and not the clients needs. They basically handcuff you into their payment terms after taking a 50% deposit a few months earlier (as if you had not committed to them) and leaving you without a kitchen even though you left a hefty deposit a few months earlier. I was left no other choice but to pay the balance without even seeing one single piece of wood delivered to my house. So I immediately made arrangements and paid the balance on the same day of delivery as they demanded. Then to top the cake, a 2 week installation turned into 3 months of waiting and complaining about defects, unfinished counters, missing, shelves and cutlery dividers etc. Completely unacceptable when demanding those kinds of dollars and payment terms and then not delivering accordingly. Truly unprofessional.

Above and beyond payment terms and timelines and yelling matches, there were many bad measurements taken, poor designs with our bathroom vanity / kitchen cabinets and lots of cabinets that had to be re-manufactured and installed because they did not work in the space or they were damaged right from the factory. There were also many chips, dings, bad edge banding and paint overspray EVERYWHERE!

We also contracted out Lucvaa to source and install our counters and by the end of it all, they just gave up on the coffee bar counter and offered us a $500 refund (which I advised was not enough of a refund) and I was assured that it was. We hired another company who just delivered and installed our new counter and we who charged $1000 to install the counter (which is what I was expecting Lucvaa to refund).

Overall, we were completely disappointed with the level of trust and professionalism that Lucvaa portrayed to us, along with the quality of craftsmanship, timelines were the worst I've seen to date (and we have lived through 3 kitchen renovations over the last few years). There are many better and more reliable choices out there.

Prior to choosing lucvaa for our kitchen we shopped around and found them to have superior quality at a great price and they did not disappoint.we are excited and appreciative for the great job their designer and installer Renata and thomaso did ,our kitchen floor was not level so we had to make quite a few changes at no extra costs.we will not hesitate to use them again and recommend them to anyone.

If I could give Lucvaa Kitchens 0 stars I would. We recently renovated our kitchen and used Lucvaa for design and custom cabinetry based on a family members recommendation. We have had multiple problems and despite trying to address these with Lucvaa and not resort to online reviews, there has been no ownership and a total lack of response from them. I have called and emailed multiple times and nobody responds.

I sent the following email:
Hi Debra and Aza,
I just want to be 100% honest and upfront that I do not feel these issues have been resolved to my satisfaction and my reviews of Lucvaa will reflect that. I would love for us to work together to resolve what I feel have been avoidable issues but it seems you are more focused on whose “fault” it is.
This is why I would have preferred not to pay the full amount until the job was completed.
In future I would suggest:
- you review the specs in advance and if all needed measurements aren’t provided, you contact the customer to ensure the appliance (in our case vent hood) will be on site during installation. We had to pay an additional charge for last minute delivery which was avoidable.
- you provide clear plans to the contractor or explicitly state the measurements around the island and that rough ins are NOT included so there is no miscommunication or you offer to do a walk through of the site with the contractor prior to installation
- you ensure any pertinent details for counters (such as thickness of counter required) are provided in advance - not after installation of the cabinetry

I do not feel these expectations are unreasonable for a company that prides themselves on luxury custom kitchens and customer service.

Following the above email I followed up with Debra and asked if she had received my email because I didn’t receive a reply. She responded “I don’t know what you want me to say”.
Following this email, there were 3 additional issues including the fridge not being appropriately accounted for resulting in a fridge that when installed correctly has a left side door that doesn’t open (despite Lucvaa having the specs prior to finalizing the design), the sink we purchased from them coming with the wrong drain which has still not been resolved and issues surrounding installation of paneling at the top of the cabinetry.
Basically, in summary, they are the WORST and you would receive better service at IKEA.

EDITED to add: Following posting this review, Lucvaa suddenly became very responsive and visited our home the following day. They reimbursed us $650 to have the baseboard removed so the fridge fit and the appropriate drain was received. This did not cover our full costs related to the modification that was necessary to fit the fridge, the delivery cost for the vent hood or the miscommunication related to the rough ins but something is better than nothing. I would not use them for future projects but wanted to add this so anyone reading can make their own informed decision.

Recommend to me by my brother who helped with installation. Bowed cabinet sides, not square, gaps in back of drawers, paint spill over not fixed, poor customer support. NEVER AGAIN

We contracted Lucvaa for our kitchen cabinets and the final product is exceptional. Niusha worked tirelessly and was patient throughout the process. She was helpful and understood the constraints while making reasonable suggestions for solutions. The team including the installers Suresh and Henry were great. The owner was patient throughout the process and they was no pressure to make decisions. The final product was delivered on time as scheduled and within the agreed price.

We worked with a fabulous designer named Sine. She listened and designed the kitchen of our dreams. This company not only sells excellent products but has wonderful and knowledgeable people working for them!

Lucvaa just finished the installation of our new kitchen and it is awesome. If you are looking for a great quality kitchen at a decent price look no further, go see these folks they will take care of all your needs. I have never come across a company with such a customer service focus. We experienced it from design to project management to installation. You can buy cheaper cabinetry but I guarantee you will be disappointed. I highly recommend this company and all my future needs they will have first dibs

Lucvaa billed my credit card with out my permission or notification. MasterCard settle dispute and did not pay Lucvaa.Work was not complete or built to design stated by independent contractor . Extra cost from other trades were a result of Lucvaa poor workmanship.Job took 4 months when they qouted 3 weeks .Staff constantly changing and hard to contact.Terrible experience! Buyer beware! Lucvaa is not honest or nice to deal with.Stay away from Lucvaa!

First of all I am lucky to have Lucvaa kitchens to install my kitchen. What a friendly service and designing helps and tips by designer Debra. She was visiting my home every day (3) and inspecting installation. I don't think I can get this kind of service any where else.
Installers are very informative and knowledgeable.
They know what they are doing. Very friendly and providing suggestions and informations every time I asked questions. Job well done Oleg.
I have to talk about the owner Kajen, oh what a simple man. He always provided to me all the support and suggestions to save money and get good outcome.
Definitely I will recommend to all my friends and family to get service by LUCVAA.
