Insulation review in
Overhead Door Company of Indianapolis was recommended as a good company to do wall insulation. We trusted the name and hired them to insulate a first floor apt. Now my husband asked them several times if the insulation thickness they chose for the ceiling/floor would be thick enough to offer sound proofing. From the start that had been our primary concern about this remodel. The heat system and floor plan had been changed to help with the sound between apts. They kept assuring us it would work. Well you can sit on the floor of the 1st floor apt and hear every word of a phone conversation upstairs, let alone the washing machine or dishwasher. We are talking about a huge investment in rehabbing rendered ineffective.

- If you have second thoughts about what a company is doing don't sit back. Get a second opinion or get it in writing that their work will be effective.
