Used this service 2x (once in 2002 then 2011). First 2 times were fine, third time was a nightmare. during the move, I gave the movers 2x 15 minute breaks and even went out of my way to buy them coffee and snacks when I did not even have to contractually. At the end of the move, I gave both movers $75 tips EACH but they went over 8 hours by 15 minutes. The company rounded off to the next hour to total 9 hours and charged me 1 hour in overtime, even though in 2011, when the move took 6.5 hours, I was billed for 6.5 hours. I tried to explain the above information and also explained that I had one more move to do in 3 months time (as this move was to a temporary place before my home was built). So obviously, they were guaranteed another move which would have been another $1000 in business. I dealt with the company manager "ROB" who exercised absolutely no business courtesy and was rude and condescending in his approach to resolve this matter. So basically, the company felt it was wise and right to right off a 2x and guaranteed return customer and killed a possible another $1000 in business in my next move over a mere $90 in overtime charges. In their defence, the movers who did all the leg work were fine, but the company is managed by an individual (rob) who has absolutely no business sense or foresight to maintain business relationships. ** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY ** Moving is a very stressful time and the last thing you need is another layer of problems to deal with during this time.
