We hired MHS to hydroseed our rural property. The first year the lawn came in amazing. It was dark green, thick and was a pleasure to mow. We paid them additionally to do the follow up fertilizing and were told this was necessary to maintain the warranty for the following year. Year 2- OUR LAWN SUCKS! We did our own fertilizing, core aeration and maintained the lawn exactly as recommended. The lawn was 4-6 weeks late in coming in and was infested with weeds covering 90% of the property. There were huge swaths of dead areas and the lawn was very thin. MHS virtually did nothing to satisfy us, It took two months of phone calls and emails to get them to come out and when they did, they did a half assed restoration consisting of spreading some topsoil of some of the affected areas and putting down mulch even though the company had told us they would be doing a resprayof any unsatisfactory areas. In the end we had to restore the lawn in it's entirety on our own. Their customer service is abysmal, they are evasive, do not stand by their product and essentially ripped us off. STAY AWAY!
