I bought a NuVista Homes spec house. I could have expected some of the issues I have had including moisture in the basement, issues with temperature expansion and constraction affecting my drywall, I've had plumbing issues and a minor electrical issue. I know every house has some issues but I am sure mine may be in excess. I would be less likely to complain if their service team cared a bit more and their office management was a bit more professional.
If you have the choice of another builder, you may want to review others.
