I requested a deep clean from Ajax Pickering Molly Maid prior to listing our home for sale. The owner did not come to see the home and estimated it would take 2-3 hours. Two women arrived on time. By the time they left, there was an indelible mark on the bathroom tap, the stove shiny black glass area under the knobs was dull and scratched, some wood furniture was left with a scum, bathroom vanity also had a scum, and some areas missed. When I complained to the owner she accused me of damaging the areas and blaming her girls, insisted that they did no damage, thensaid the stove probably so dirty that when they cleaned it they just revealed prior scratches. We disagreed strenuously on the phone and a week later when I received my visa bill there was a charge for $449. I had not received an invoice and was not advised that the payment would be taken. I advised her that I would pursue chargeback with Visa if she did not honour her offer of 50% reduction of fee due to damages. She agreed to the reduction. I requested an invoice for my records and she emailed the original invoice but has ignored my request for an amended invoice showing the fee reduction.
