Reid Built Homes

Very Very disappointed in Reid Built Homes. We signed our contract for our new home on March 22, 2014. We still will not get possession of our house for another 4 months. That will be 16 months to build a house. This is supposed to be an exciting time and we are far from excited. The amount of stress and loss of sleep this has caused is ridiculous. We will be homeless as of May 31st, as our first estimated possession date was May 5th. So we gave notice thinking that would be lots of time. Now they are telling us it will be at least another 120 days. We have three children and they don't seem to even care. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND Reid Built homes to anybody!!!!

We built our house through them. From start of build to move in we were very happy, they customized the house to our specs and worked with us and the changes we made. The house was fairly well built. Our only complaint was the 6 month and 1 year walk through, we still have some pending items 3 years later. Any time I have called I need to reopen the file as it gets closed off. Although the remaining item is cosmetic and minor in nature, it would be nice to have it completed.

The Show home agen was very helpful, when we were decideing to buy a home with them, showed us all the options and also showed us ways to change the plans of the home with little to no extra charge.

They were very informative and and would answer all our concerns, The house turned out just like we wanted. We are very happy with the results and will build with Reid built again.
