I can honestly say that I don't know how to begin with this review, other than I am THRILLED with not only the final outcome of my new stairs - but the entire journey from start to finish. Years of waiting & planning for a long-awaited renovation - to which a big component, was the stairs - finally kicked off at the beginning of last year (2020), just as the pandemic was ramping up. The challenges of a reno during covid, were unbelievable, but R&A stood out as a shining star.
I love the details and am curious about the process, so have been told I ask a lot of questions. From the very first initial site visit & meeting, Rick was incredible. He is immensely knowledgeable - and his willingness to share his expertise & work through the details was outstanding. Rick answered all queries without any tone of impatience, arrogance or smugness (surprisingly, while interviewing other stair companies, there was no shortage of 'attitude', and on one occasion, my vision for the rise & tread stained the same colour was minimized and dismissed as THEY insisted that it was not a popular look right now)
There were on-site hiccups, and by no means was my job the biggest or most challenging for R&A, but their professionalism, patience (even with the hurdles of dealing with covid) - plus, the welcomed dialogue & open communication at each step & phase, was so appreciated. This company knows their stuff and does it well. From Rick & Josh - to Nick & the instal team - and the awesome railing/glass crew, Leonard & Jesse - I couldn't have been happier.
