We replaced our counters with gorgeous quartz. The installers were awesome. The showed up on time and actually rolled out red carpet. They were quick and efficient. I wasn't 100% satisfied with the sales staff as it was more difficult to book an appointment than I thought but they were great once we were able to sit down with them.
I went to home depot to find out about kitchens. We were told that Kelly was one of kitchen specialists. We left our name and number and in no time at all, she contacted us. She came to our home to give us some ideas but wanted our input to insure that we were going to get what we wanted. We have been back to home depot to see her and the plans for our new kitchen. It looks amazing and so is Kelly.
We have used Home Depot's in Toronto for years and have always been challenged in getting answers or competent staff to fill our needs. Not so in Orangeville since we have moved here...here every section goes above and beyond the call in helpful and CORRECT advice on all matters. What a refreshing change!!!!
I was surprised by the poor selection of building materials available especially in wood products area. For such a large store I don't think their product line is acceptable. I wasn't looking for some exotic mahogany or walnut. I'm talking mostly about plywood and when it came to buying some moulding I was again dissapointed by the lack of quality and availability. Do I have to go to a specialty store? It really seems like the company offers a basic line of goods that they can buy in bulk for the lowest price and not take up valuable space with slower moving merchandise. I appreciate the savings when you carry something I can use but isn't there a little more room for an increased product line and quality goods.
Looking for interior and exterior lighting in several locations, I found that The Home Depot in Orangeville has an amazing selection. I found the colours I needed along the style and the price was right and the service was really good as well.
