Long Life Windows & Doors Ltd.

We had Long Life Windows & Doors replace two older sliding doors and replace 2 basement windows. The installer was extremely professional and covered all our floors with drop cloths to protect our floors and carpets. The instllation took only a day (as we'd had unexpected snow the night before). The crew know their craft very well and handled the security system retrofit with out any hitches. The doors and windows (done in 2010) are a dream to open, close and to clean. The windows clip open to allow the screens to be removed when ever they need cleaning. The dust in the house has diminished as there are no drafts from anywhere in the bottom floor.
We've been extremely pleased with the work. We've since had a few more windows done (again on an unseasonable snowy day).
We highly recommend their products and their service and will be a future customer some day.

This project was the second one Longlife has done in our home. In 2005 we hired them to replace a number of windows, and this year we had them back to replace another window and 2 doors. They are professional and meticulous in their finishing. We are very happy with both the products and the service they provide and have recommended them to a number of friends.

Our home is 62 years old. It was renovated 30 years ago and the existing windows allowed too much energy transfer and way too much noise! We thought about upgrading for a few years - it seemed like everyone in our neighbourhood was doing it. We went to the BC Home & Garden Show and were inundated with what seemed like dozens of companies vying for our business. We did our due diligence and made a short list of three companies of varying cost ranges.

The co-op ownership of my building hired Longlife to complete our partial window upgrade of the Vinyltek product.
I had mine own windows replaced with Vinyltek sliders in 2008, so i presented the product to complete the building including some very large units in stairwells. Kris and his team maneuvered through the rain and multiple owners to completion and the satisfaction of all.
The street noise and heat retention/reflection has made an amazing difference in our common hallways and I am sure, brightened the lives of the shareholdership. Product was ready ahead of time, installation scheduled and any small issues were corrected at no additional cost.

Long Life installed windows for the entire house in a 2 day period. The team of workers were efficient,professional,very organized and excellent workers. They knew how to troubleshoot if there was an unexpected problem;they were excellent at clean up on the job site and made sure I was aware of what was taking place . We had vinyl windows installed and are extremely happy with the windows and how they were installed. They matched the pattern on our old leaded glass windows and the windows look just like our old wood windows. They were also able to match the trim colour. The installers were very friendly and professional and the crew was large enough that the windows were installed quite quickly.

We had Long Life install a beautiful leaded glass window in our bathroom above the bath. It had to be custom coloured on the inside and have a wood tone to match our cedar siding on the outside. They did a superb job with excellent communications on the status of the window and, when the time came to install the installer was prompt and very professional. We were concerned about potential leakage being in the bath area but seeing the quality of the workmanship we are now very pleased with the result.
