Hi Peter. We have been enjoying our new windows for about three months. The comfort in our home is an extreme difference for the better. The infloor heating no longer makes the floors hot to keep the house comfortable. There are no draughts, period. The appearance factor with the "stained" vinyl is marvellous. Visitors and friends all feel the sashes when we tell them that it isn't wood, but a treated vinyl. The installation crew was truly professional in all aspects of their tasks, including taking care of exterior plantings and gardens, and respecting the homes interior/furnishings. We are fortunate to have found a business which cares about its customers.

My husband and I are so happy and glad that we hired Long Life for our window replacements. Not just the quality of the product but the service that we received were just superb! The installation crew done a excellent job. They were very professional in removing and installing the windows. They didn't make a mess in installing the windows and cleaned up very well. I would call them again in the near future. I would recommend to other customers.

Window replacement. We cannot say enough about the service we received from Longlife in the replacement of our windows. Peter was very knowledgable and always very quick to return our calls and e-mails with any questions we had. WOW - the windows are awesome - the service is double awesome - Peter and Randy are the best - had every window company in the city to my home to give me quotes and show us their products, but no one could match the service and quality of Long Life. We were very impressed with Peter Wright's product knowledge, suggestions made regarding possible changes to window sizes, location of sliders, advice on which windows would be best laminated to reduce outside noise, provision of numerous options regarding door styles, and overall follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

I love my new 9 foot kitchen window; it is the focal point of our new kitchen and really is what makes the reno so fabulous. Peter was easy to work with, very responsive and sensitive to deadlines. The crew was efficient, skilled and cheerful. This is our 2nd house that we have replaced all the windows with the Vinyltek product as they are energy efficient, easy to clean both inside and out and most of all,look great.

I decided to replace all the aluminum framed windows in our house. The condensation and failed seals that were especially noticeable in the fall/winter prompted me to do my research.

I spoke to a number of local window vendors and to be blunt, some weren't prompt with callbacks or did not seem to be interested in any follow up. Some didn't explain the install method they were using in the quote provided.

Long Life was the only company to pass on all fronts of customer service. Blaine (sales rep) and Randy and Corey (installers) were courteous and professional throughout the process. Blaine was good at explaining things and getting the ball rolling. Randy himself came out to take the detailed measurements.

In the end, we replaced 16 windows, patio door and a skylight. The windows and patio door were installed using the nail flange method which required our vinyl siding to be removed, the window installed and the siding being re-attached. Randy and Corey did a fine job in doing all of this. They were friendly and willing to answer any of my questions. They take care to clean up at the end of each day. Corey went an extra step in that he offered to re-attach our window blind brackets.

The total job took about 3 days and I am quite satisfied with the product and the installation. I just had the final walk through with Blaine and informs me that Randy noticed that one of the windows had a slight frame defect above the latch. I hadn't noticed this but Blaine will be getting Vinyltek to contact us to arrange for replacement. I apprecicate this proactive service.

You may pay a little more than using another company but the service and lifetime transferable warranty more than offsets this.

I would definitely recommend Long Life to anyone I know.
