Terrible Drive-way Concrete job
Approximately 3 years ago Trisan Construction was in my neighbourhood (Bathurst & Eglinton) re-doing all the sidewalks. A received a letter in the mail saying that Trisan is doing the sidewalks and that they would also do private driveways for an additional cost.
My drive way is cracking and quite a few pieces are gone because they did not correctly space the cement around my house. The slabs of cement closest to my house are not sloped correctly and as a result we are beginning to have some water issues. There is also a huge crack all the way through 3-4 slabs of concrete.
I have had 4-5 of the most reputable Homestar concrete contractors come by to give a quote and I was urged to try and contact the original construction company.
I thought I was in safe hands considering the City of Toronto was using Trisan to replace the sidewalks. If you do some research on Trisan you will find that they were banned for approximately 2 years from bidding on projects by the City of Toronto because of poor quality workmanship. My driveway was done very near to the the time that City of Toronto banned them.
I did my due diligence and sent approximately 8-10 emails, left 5-6 voicemails to try and reach someone at Trisan. Never got a single call back or a response.
