Churko Electric

We had Churko Electric in to repair a ceiling fan light control and wire a dishwasher. The work was completed fine but the charges were high. Their standard call out charge is $120 for each visit plus they bill in 1/2 hour increments even though our second visit took only 10 minutes. And we waited over 2 weeks for them to come back to finish. Asking around I was told that the other smaller electricians are cheaper and more responsive to small residential jobs. I get the feeling Churko really doesn't want to bother with smaller calls, which is of course his prerogative.

The wiring, lighting and running cable from the main building was done to our satisfaction and on budget. One of the many projects completed by Churko Electric for us at our lakefront resisdence. Steve Churko has installed Back up power system, irrigation pump and rewired the extensive kitchen and sunroom renovations. The quote they gave on our upgrades was very close to what the actual final price ended up being. The staff was very helpful and Steve had a lot of very good advice that we hadn't even considered.
