We hired Home Improvement people to install new kitchen cabinets, backpsplash, granite counter tops, baseboards and 600 sq ft of porcelain tiles. Ben assured us that we would receive top quality workmanship and would deal with any deficiencies.
We ended up with uneven cupboards, chipped cupboard shelves and chipped sides of drawers, backsplash with grout on it, cement on the flagstone walkway and over 59 spots on the floor with uneven tiles. Project started Jan 9'12 and to date we have paid 87% of the project and we are waiting for Ben to address the deficiencies.

As a real estate investor with varying degrees of success and experience with other contractors on smaller renovation projects, I knew the importance of finding a professional, well-organized contractor who was going to be able to handle the scale of our project when it came time to do a full-scale renovation of our own personal residence. The Home Improvement People and their team were easy to work with, were super courteous and their project manager Larry Maher always showed extreme patience with all of our questions.

We had HIP perform both a complete bathroom and kitchen renovation for us within the last year. We were very pleased with both reno's. The entire package of design help, professional trades personnel, quality of work and on-time delivery of the project was excellent and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

I called these guys mostly because of reviews on this site and I am pleased with results. I have a small basement in a fairly new house but I wanted to make it look really nice so we can get the most use out if it and now nobody wants to go upstairs anymore. My daughter and son fight over who gets to hang out there with their friends. Thanks to the crew who was friendly and professional.

I had been hearing about the Home Improvement People for years and had wanted to renovate my kitchen for the longest time. I finally decided to contact them and met with Ben and hired on spot. Through the whole process I felt comfortable with drywallers, tilers, painter etc. Overall my kitchen is beautiful, family and friends have been commenting on what a great job has been done. Purchased a voucher from a groupbuying website for 2 hours of handyman services from the Home Improvement People. Wanted to remove the side panel of a wooden fence and to convert the panel removed into a door to allow access to the side of my house in the backyard. The handyman who showed up was very pleasant, but could have done a better job. Called Dan from the Home Improvement People and told him of my experience, he explained that they specialize in interior renovations such as kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Dan told me that they do not do the type of work that I wanted, but since I purchased a voucher for 2 hours of Handyman services, they sent someone. Dan wanted me to be satisfied, so he rectified the situation, I am very impressed with Dan and the Home Improvement People, customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to them.
