Glenmore Mechanical

The furnace stopped working. It was -12C. outside. I knew it was an igniter problem because the fan still worked. I live in Hawkwood and it was a phone in at 5:30 PM.

I phoned an old number of a reputable furnace repair person. Unfortunately it is now Glenmore Mechanical. The repair person, Robin, came at the time I was told he would be there 7:30 PM. He broke the first igniter and had to come back the next day where he broke a second igniter and finally got a third one working. Robin then charged me for the three igniters and two visits even though he was the the person who could not get the igniter installed. What should have been a $150 to $300 job was $498.75.
