Did not deliver as promised, when we went on vacation they came unexpectedly left the tub outside for a week

We had a renovation planned. I bought a tub from HD in Ottawa. They didn't deliver on the day they promised. Then we went on vacation and they came when we weren't around for a week and left the delivery outside in the snow and harsh weather. No one called to tell me my delivery was late or on it's way so we had no idea when it was coming after it was late. Random, disorganized, bad communication.

buy dishwasher experience

ordered a dishwasher from this store, got a lot of promise from the sales, and waiting for the delivery. but nothing happens on delivery day, when I follow on their website, they say the machine will come next month! and they don't know where the item is now! That is their order tracing system!
you may cancel the order and buy elsewhere, who cares!
but I already detached the old machine waiting for the delivery guy to take away! how can I wait for one month? so Never , never buy anything from this shop again!

Fireplace

Ordered and paid for an electric fireplace. Massive delay in receiving it from the promised date. When I contacted the company no one could find the package in the shipping system. Then when it did arrive it clearly had a rough journey because it was defective and would not operate. Returned the fireplace at my local Home Depot and had the service desk order me another one but not before confirming availability. The Website dashboard said In Stock. And one week for receiving of the replacement fireplace.Two days after I paid for it I received the message that delivery was going to be delayed by a week. Then next day another email saying the product was on back order. And would be shipped Dec 10. It’s now Dec 15 and the shipping notification on their site still hasn’t changed and after a long wait to talk with a live body no one in the organization can tell me when I can expect the fireplace or even why the dashboard has not been updated. Zero customer service online. I will never order through them again. Not because of the delays but the total lack of follow up and problem solving they have demonstrated.
I know have a giant hole in my living room wall for Christmas… compliments Home Depot online.

worst customer service ever

I have spend 3 days and 3 hours each time on a phone with them just to get a return label, still did not get it.
Would never buy anything from them ever again.

Home Depot Online - Illume Puck Lights Order

Ordered a set of 5 Illume under counter puck lights for my kitchen from Home Depot online. I was looking for a hardwired solution as I was replacing 3 older strip fixtures. I had bought the junction boxes in store but couldn't find the compatible lights. I went to 2 HD because they indicated they had what I needed in stock. Unfortunately, their stock was misidentified and the set in store was not compatible with the junction boxes, so I decided to order online in the hopes that I would get sent the correct item. It worked out as I received them directly from the manufacturer. Finally had time to install them - all is good!

Online ordering for curbside pickup

Harvey’s has over 8 million combinations to top its hamburgers, you can order them fresh and pick up at your closest Harvey’s 10-15 minutes later and be home enjoying them within another 10 minutes.
Home Depot, you order, wait for a confirmation that they received your order, then wait for another email that says it’s ready for pick up. Quite often I order when I need stuff, not a week in advance!! I ordered LIGHTBULBS!!! Why has it been over 24 hours and still not ready?? It’s not the store that is slow. It’s the order takers as they do not have many working, why can’t we order directly to the store?
McDonalds, Harvey’s, A&W, Pizza Pizza, Ginos, etc... have it figured out!
This is a shame, if I had a choice I would never deal with Home Depot and online Curbside pick up again.
But it is end of May, perhaps if I order a snow shovel I may get it in time that I need it!!

Curb side pick up disaster

When are they going to get their curb side pick up order at Dundas and Winston Churchill location. We arrived and texted in with our spot number. Many cars arrived after us have gotten their stuff and left. After 40 minutes of waiting we went in to check. They said it it hadn’t been processed. Ok. Another 1 hour had passed and we went in again. Our items was sitting there and no one bothered to bring it out. I had to bring it myself.

Potting Soils

I ordered several items in late march from homedepot.ca. Just like joke it is now over one month. This order is yet to be processed. what a joke. I will never order anything from homedepot again.
Since the 9th of April that they created a delivery label, the status is yet to change.It is now going to over 3 weeks. who does that in this day an age.

The Worst Delivery System ever

Hello

I arrive at the shop and before the shop, I went to the Pro Desk and ask if they could deliver it, on April 17, and they said yes, we can. That being said I spend more than four hours buying stuff for a job. I made a substantial shop at Home Depot Polo Park Winnipeg and I had a delivery scheduled for today (April 17th). I stayed on site all day long with my crew to start the job and nothing was delivered.
I left the site frustrated and around 6:30 pm the owner called me and said, nothing was delivered yet.
I called Home Depot and I was very treated with a total lack of care with the customer.
The manager said the driver couldn't deliver because of some road restriction. I said, but you do not have a procedure if the driver cannot deliver, he calls to the customer? Doesn't he call the shop and then the shop call the customer to give him the panorama of the situation? She had no answer to that, only said the driver suppose to call. I asked about my material she said the material had come back to the store and again I asked " what is the procedure? Do nothing and wait for the customer to get crazy looking for their material? I tried to explain about the crew was there and I pay them hourly and they will be there again on Sunday and with no material, has nothing to do!!! I explain the crew refuses other jobs to be with me and now if I cancel I have to pay them anyway!! She said: we will not compensate you for that and you can cancel the order whenever you want.

I decided to buy the material after Home Depot confirm they can deliver and then, they do not deliver.

Let's summarize:
I did all my job, asked first, did the shop, pay for everything.
The driver said has a Road Restriction but did not call me to notify me about it. By the way, I have received other deliveries today and no one road restriction was identified.
the driver return to the shop and said it to the manager.
the manager did not call me to give me some info or even to apologize for the huge inconvenience and try to solve the problem that, by the way, was not generated by me.
I call to the shop to try to figure out what happened and instead to receive a gentle explanation about what happened I got very, rude, unprofessional, and neglected treatment.
This is not the first time it happened to me on deliveries from Home Depot.
This is the way you treat the clients that prefer to buy in your store? That is the best that you can do?

Online orders

The HD Online Order system is a total waste for curbside pickup. Why put down a pickup date and the store can't even honor that. I ordered 4 cans of spray paint and it has been 3 days since the order. How long does it take for a HD Associate to get 4 cans and put it in a basket? And the store (North Brampton) has hardly 5 cars at any time waiting for a pickup so they can't be that busy. Also the fact that the store has the items listed as available in the store should not be a problem. This particular store has a history of very poor customer service, specialist customer service associates who don't have a clue about what they talk about and the fact when you ask a question about a certain product they read off the product label, hell anybody can do that. And if you need help with something you generally wait between 20 to 30 minutes until an associate shows up.
Another issue is their delivery options. I ordered a fire table and there was an option for $10.00 more to have it delivered within a 3 hour window, well, it showed up the next day. I could have paid less for the next day delivery option!! And try to get a $10. refund on their screwup,
GOOD LUCK!!!!
