Use Armstong Moving if you are HAPPY to have your much loved furniture arrive at its destination damaged, broken and boxes missing, l have moved twice across the Atlantic the first time with not even a broken cup, the second using Armstong and furniture broken beyond repair, fit only for firewood, ( the insurance covered, (after a fight), the cost of the furniture ) but the lack of response from my so called Move manager regarding the loss of 2 boxes was deafening by its silence although not voiced the implications were that l was lieing about the missing items being packed and loaded on the truck, l both watched it packed and put on the truck, it contained my husband's chef knives, the tools of his trade, and bone handled knives that belonged to my mother in law who passed away August 2021,are unreplaacable. I have never in my life felt so let down both by the unfulfilled promises of first class service and lack of response or acceptance of responsibility. The company appointed to deliver my things in the UK were embarrassed by the condition of my things and said they had never seen anything like it before.

I would never use this company again. They act just as a middle man and contract out all pieces of the move. The agent we spoke to for the estimate said repeatedly that they could handle everything and that they do this all the time, etc, etc. Well, they did not organize for our hot tub to be moved until the day before, then found that they could not do it on our move day. It took them 3 months to pick up the hot tub after our move, during which time, they increased the price drastically for them to move it, and another 4 months to deliver it, only to find that it had been hit by a fork lift and broken. Then they say that the value is not fully covered after all, when that is stated in the contract. They also missed the "delivery window" for the main delivery, meaning that we spent weeks in an empty home without anything but the basics we had with us because they refused to give us an actual date of arrival, just a window, which after they missed, they still refused to give and actual date. It was a terrible experience start to finish. With that being said, the actual moving crews that they contracted out to, that showed up on both ends, were polite and kind and careful, but the lack of organization and professionalism from the middle man company really made this a terrible experience.

They moved us from California to Toronto and broke 25,000CAD worth of furniture.
We have been waiting for over 3 months to get our claims submission processed.
If you have valuables I would avoid this moving company.

Allan and his crew were absolutely amazing! This was my first time ever using movers and if I ever move in the future, I’ll definitely be using Armstrong Moving! Allan was completely professional and his crew were super polite. The attention and care they demonstrated on my personal effects and my new home was much appreciated. The move went well and nothing was broken. We had a bad experience overall as the crew lead refused to take off his shoes in our house and refused to put on new shoe covers as well despite us being told ahead of time that the crew would comply with COVID guidelines. Upon lodging the complaint their QC manager contacted us - had it not been for the QC managers response and sensitivity to our concerns I would have probably rated the experience lower.

So much damage due to poor packing. They wrapped plastic dollar store items in 2 sheets of paper and left China ornaments unwrapped in a box of other precious items that were also unwrapped. They lost so many parts to flat pack furniture that we are unable to rebuild and refused to reimburse us. Disgusting service so avoid at all cost if you value your belongings.

Absolutely brilliant. I hired Armstrong to pick up a high value container of European furniture from the CP rail terminal and deliver the furniture to my house. Despite the incredibly short lead time (another moving company ditched me at the last minute), Armstrong pulled it off without a hitch. And to boot, they were a little cheaper than the other company too.

I worked with Jamie and Ryan to deal with the container pickup and they were more than helpful in answering my questions as it was the first time I was importing furniture in a container. They were extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with. They had incredible attention to detail and handled several shipping issues very professionally. They did not attempt to nickel and dime me for several things like uncrating and simple assembly, which is what some of their competitors have done.

The day of the furniture delivery, the crew arrived on time, took great care with the furniture and were extremely efficient. They delivered everything very quickly, were courteous and very precise with placement. Nothing was damaged. They also were very helpful with applying furniture pads and dutifully checked for factory damage, which is a service level above and beyond the rest.

This is my second time using Armstrong and I was impressed both times. They were timely, detail oriented and friendly both times. I would highly recommend them for any move, local or international, and given my experiences I now trust them with high value items and complex logistics.

WOW! I had amazing experience with Armstrong Moving, they handled my items with care. The crew were hard-working and got everything done on time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Jamie's crew and that young lad Alex are great workers!
