We were looking to replace our old, rotting wood deck in the backyard. We called Pro Concrete in February 2014, and within a few days, Duarte was at our house to provide us with some ideas and a quote. He arrived on time, was extremely helpful, and gave use a design drawing, a price, and a number of helpful resources on the spot. We especially loved the fact that we were provided with references and we were not expected to put down a deposit in order to "hold a spot".

Our backyard reno began in May 2014, and from day one we were extremely impressed by the workmanship, professionalism, and dedication of the Pro Concrete team. We had a lot of rainy days initially, but anytime there was a break in the showers the crews were there working hard. They left each day only after everything was completely clean - no mess left behind ever! John was always available when we had questions, and we couldn't be happier with our beautiful new backyard!

We have already HIGHLY recommended Pro Concrete to number of family and friends, and we will certainly call them again if we are ever in need of more concrete work. The price we were quoted was the price we paid (no hidden fees or "unexpected" costs), and I consider it very reasonable for the quality of work that was carried out. We are so thankful for all the time and care that was put into our project - very well done!

We called Pro concrete fall 2013. Duarte was polite, punctual and professional. I liked the company but told them I was not ready to proceed until the spring. Spring 2014, we called Pro concrete to come back again for another quote and this time we had decided what we wanted which was exposed aggregate and patterned border. The patterned border was suggested by Dennis, (sales) and it was a great suggestion. From the beginning of the project the crews were all polite, professional and did a great job. Anytime I called or had questions, Silvio answered them on the phone and came in person to the house. Our patio looks beautiful, and we look forward to many barbeques. We recently had Pro Concrete complete our front landing and steps with exposed aggregate.I decided to call them after seeing what a terrific job they had done on a house down the street. My initial meeting was with George who came on time and listened carefully to what I wanted done.Within 15 minutes I had a drawn up quote along with a beauitiful coloured brochure. The brochure had addresses in the area that you could go and see the previous jobs that had been done. Because of on going revovations that were not completed at my home I wasn't able to get the job started before winter came. I had told their office to please call me first thing in spring when your ready to start. Beginning of spring I got a call from them and we set up a time to start. An appointment with Silvio the owner was arranged to discuss the final preparations. Silvio was very professional, knowledgeable and runs
a credible family business with pride in their workmanship. All the workers from the excavation, forming and pouring crews worked fast and efficient. They always left the work area secure and tidy. Consideration to neighbours cars and property was always addressed before starting each morning. To make sure that the customer is totally happy with their job Pro Concrete doesn't even ask for any deposit until after the work is completed. Any small repairs are done quickly and efficiently. Our front landing and stairs just got the sealer applied to them and it looks absolutely amazing. I had a few quotes in the summer of 2012 but was too late......all the good firms were booked up so in the spring of 2013 I started calling.

I actually got 6 quotes and Pro-Concrete was ranked #3 in price (third highest). I wanted QUALITY and it didn't take much convincing.

What really sold me is that the sales guy (George) actually took the time to go back to his car and actually draw out what he wanted to do. No one else took the time to do this and that pretty much sold me.

Three of the other firms also wanted to "cheap out" by skipping a step or by putting some concrete on a slope. George just said "no that ain't right" and provided education as to why it wasn't.

The job started with John the foreman coming over and marking the area's for excavation and where the steps would be.

The real work started with a bunch of guys, 5 trucks, a mini excavator and many wheel barrows. They scooped of a few inches of soil to make room for the concrete. They then set up the forms.

There were some delays due to weather but that's nature. A few guys came to add rebar and other anchors.

They needed 3 dry days straight to pour but when the weather cleared they came in force. About 8 guys, lots of trucks and 3 cement trucks in sequence.

I opted for a lighter colour which looks so much better. The concrete gets darker especially after it is sealed.

I did 2 colour edging and all the fixings. My yard is tiny so I wanted it to look good. I also did a pad for a shed.

The pouring and stamping took all day and the release agent looks time black dust. Be aware that this stuff, although required gets everywhere and isn't very water soluble.

They leave the release agent on for a few days and allow the concrete to settle. They then powerwash everything and let it sit a bit longer.

Finally they seal the concrete.

I'm glad I actually didn't do my driveway (but did the curbs) because the concrete I pretty slippery when wet (although on the driveway they add stuff to minimize this).

I'm actually going to have them apply this stuff to the concrete this year.

The team was always very professional and the quality of work was amazing.

John the foreman was great. Easy to work with and wanted the job done right.

If I were to offer any advice it would be to post some pictures and a step by step description of the work plan on the website (like that other big but outrageously expensive Mississauga company).

I have only 1 crack from the brutal winter and just a few area's that need repair but pretty minor stuff considering the amount of concrete and grading of my house.

Pro-concrete also DID NOT ask for a single dime before they started the work. I was happy to pay in full when the work was done.

From start to finish - I found Sylivio and his team to be efficient, courteous and well skilled. We are very satisfied with our back patio. The job was done on time and without issue. Ironically, we had our front patio done by a different company 2 years ago and it was everything Pro Concrete was not. We are having issues and will certainly get the boys from Pro Concrete back here redo it right this time. Pay a little more, but its definitely worth it. I recommend you go PRO - call Pro Concrete. Pro Concrete came last year to do our front steps with a little additional area in the front and back patio. Back Patio is about 20' x 15' with a step down to an additional small area.
They came did all the measurements, discussed with us what we wanted and answered all our questions. They treated us very nice and were professional the whole time. Great bunch of guys.

The job was very well done to our satisfaction. There was some small repairs to do after this long winter and it being the first year. They came and fixed everything like new again promptly.

All and all, very good buys to work with and great work!

Excellent follow up by "Eugene and Rick" from Pro Concrete. They actually came out on a Sunday to fix the problem!! Excellent service and very professional staff!! I would highly recommend Pro Concrete and Eugene and Rick who handle any problems or complaints and they really do want their customers to be satisfied!!

The job was rushed and at times the staff were unprofessional. The men who fixed our problems were great. Still many no shows and still having issues with the patio. Hopefully all will be corrected but at the cost of the patio we should not have to be constantly checking up on things.

We recently contracted with Proconcrete to have our driveway, walkways, stairs and veranda done with exposed aggregate and they look amazing! We were impressed with George-our salesman who gave us terrific advice when it came to the design, Sylvio-owner of Proconcrete, who was very accessible; the entire crew who were all professional, courteous and very patient when it came answering our questions throughout the renovation process. They were able to meet our special needs and also able to accommodate our request for a speedy timeline. The work was done when they said it would be done and the employees worked very hard to make this experience a very pleasant one for us. Follow-up was also excellent. We would highly recommend this company for your renovation needs.

Delivered as promised!!! We went out for quotes and choose Pro Concrete based on design, warranty and the prove of quality on our 5 year old drive way. The crews worked clean, efficient and on time. All steps where well coordinated and organized. I also appreciated that Silvio worked well with my contractor and his understanding in the delay of obtaining a building permit. Before paying the bill, I requested the prove of the concrete used at the patio. No surprise here - as promised 35MPA . Thank you Pro Concrete (Silvio, Denis, Gerard and all others).
