I had just bought a new washer and dryer from Universal Appliances, Ottawa, in October 2017, and the retailer had first recommended and then arranged for the installation of the new machines by Service Ruel. Claude Ruel, the owner of the business, came and did the installation himself. As he told me, he has been in the business for many years and it shows: prompt, thoroughly professional and efficient. He took the time and effort to go over the operation of the machines, and ran them through a cycle to ensure everything was working.
The installation wasn’t quite a standard one, as there was an issue with the existing dryer vent. Claude successfully solved it (it required creating a conduit through drywall to allow the dryer house to reach the vent), and did so at no extra charge.
