I ordered a dishwasher on line from Sears; little did I know what I was in for! They charged my MasterCard for 2 dishwashers and 2 delivery fees even though the website said that under a certain weight there would be no charge. Mistakes happen, so I wasn’t too worried at this point. I called and they quickly saw the mistake and promised a full refund for the extra dishwasher sent and for the 2 delivery fees. That was early December of 2014. I finally have been given my full refund over 3 months after the fact and after speaking to at least 12 different customer service reps. At least 4 times they said that they would give me a refund giving me a confirmation number and assuring me that I would have a refund within 7 to 10 business days. Amazingly every time they told me that I believed them! By the 5th time I was I bit tired of the whole scenario and insisted on speaking to a supervisor. What a fiasco, the first time they kept me on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes and then they disconnected the line! Called back and they had the nerve to say that the supervisor was busy and would call back. He never did. One of the customer reps who promised the refund even sent a conformation email and said if anything went wrong to email back and she would take care of it. I sent her 2 emails and she never responded. This has been the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced and I lived in Italy for 8 years! (A country known for horrible customer service) I will never, ever have anything to do with them again and warn all to be careful of them.
