F M Windows & Doors

Arch window started to fog in winter after 8 years. Called FM about once a week for four weeks. Left messages with receptionist for the service manager. He was always busy and never returned messages. Finally after 3 months of being ignored, we contacted another company to replace the window. The service manager from FM showed up the day of the install by the second company and took some pictures. No fog was showing, since it was now summer and we called when it was snowing. He suggested that the caulking on the exterior trim was thin. I told him the exterior trim had nothing to do with a sealed glass window unit. About an hour after he left, the second company replaced the unit and then we saw that the failure was caused by FM's incompetent installation. The shims on the bottom were too short and only supported one side of the glass, allowing the other side to sag until the seal broke. Poor installation, no customer service, no warranty. Don't waste your money with these clowns.

Bought 5 casement windows for 3 different rooms. ALL freeze in the inside, no thermal barrier. Can't leave a message with Branch and HO is non-responsive. Never again! They came out only to determine no source of condensation in the rooms.
