I used Phillips about 4 years ago (Toronto to LA) and was relatively happy. Hardly anything got damaged. They seemed professional and to take customer service seriously. Now, 4 years later, I was returning to Toronto so I asked them to handle it. They had a local North American van line company (Andy's Transfer) pack my stuff. They were careless and surly. Then, on the other end, some of my stuff turned out to be missing. The driver saw broken bins and told me. Also, he repacked some of the loose stuff in boxes. But the company claims there's no evidence of loss! -- even though their own employee was a witness! It's really surprising and sad. I accepted the high price tag, assuming that if something went wrong, they would take responsibility. But, apparently, once they got my $15,000, they lost interest. It's really too bad.
