I found Jerry's concrete to be very reliable, they were very precise in all their work.
They informed us on how to maintain our new side walk. They informed us on using lava rocks instead of melting salt because salt causes the cement to crumble. And to also use a cealent, which they sell, to protect our side walk for years to come.
I am so glad that they are so knowledgeable.

We had Jerry's Concrete Works Ltd. do a new sidewalk for us. It took a bit longer than I had anticipated but that was due to the extremely hot and humid weather that prevented the workers from doing a full days work. Each crew that came was very knowledgeable and careful about what they were doing. I think I asked some questions of every crew and they were all polite and answered my questions fully. Even when the final inspection was done, they removed some sidewalk edging cement liners that we had said to leave because we were going to put them back in but then changed our minds and didn't want them. I would definitely recommend this company if you want some concrete work done.

Finally November they poured the concrete. In freezing temperatures.

Many years ago we hired Jerry's Concrete to do our driveway and patio. Their work was excellent, and Jerry did a very creative job in designing the patio. This year we had a problem. The step leading from the patio to our back door had pulled away from the foundation of the house, probably because of the dry weather. There was a gap in the concrete that was exploited by wasps to create a nest. Once we got rid of the wasps, I called Jerry's Concrete to find out what kind of material I should use to close the gap so that the wasp problem did not repeat itself. I talked to Jerry himself, and was very pleasantly surprised when he undertook to send someone over to seal the gap at no charge. The person showed up as promised and did the job. This work was way past any reasonable warranty period, and we really appreciated the continuing commitment that Jerry's Concrete showed to its customers.

Jerry's Concrete made a mistake on their job, received 85% of the payment (their recommendation to hold back a portion of payment until they fixed the mistake) and disappeared on us. No contact what so ever and then eight months later called to get the remaining payment. They pretended not to know anything about the mistake they made and promised that Jerry would call us back to sort it out but he never did. This scenario played out over and over again through the next couple of years. Finally, THEY took US to court. Headache after headache after headache with these guys. Do yourself a favour and go with one of the many other concrete contractors out there...Jerry's Concrete is not worth it. And don't just take my word for it, at least 7 complaints filed in 2014 with the Better Business Bureau. Those are just the people that felt bad enough to accept the hassle of doing so and filing a claim.
