My experience with JCD; rude, no show, unprofessional, complete disregard for customer. I had my unit installed in 2017, but noticed in the fall of 2019 that my garment bags were ladened with rust water from a leak from pipes running through my closet. This most probably started shortly after installation by the looks of the bags.
I called JCD in June 2020 to have a look. I was given an appointment in early July. On the day of the appointment, no one showed or called. I called back and was asked to call back at 4PM. At 4PM, still no show so I called back and was asked to call again at 6PM. My wife called at 6PM and that is when things became complicated.
Suddenly she was told that they had no record of the appointment and was simply told to give them our coordinates and get this -- "We'll see" was his response. Frustrated and angry, she just hung up.
Being a patient consumer, I wrote an email to Chris explaining the situation and asked he replies or calls me to discuss, if they stand by their workmanship. I waited 4 days for a reply, but received none. They simply don't care.
I called another contractor who came the same day and repaired the fault in 10 minutes. The issue was improperly insulated pipes.
