Go Mini's

This company USED to have great customer service. Not anymore. The person on the phones now is absolutely clueless. She has no idea what she is doing and is very unhelpful.
Basically told me to 'feel around the website' instead of answering my questions.
We've used them before with no issues but the lady who helped us before has left. (Laurie)
Went ahead and booked anyway and we are so disappointed.
Unit delivered was not clean. Evidence of a previous leak was all over the roofline.
Our credit card was overcharged then refunded. Then overcharged again. Calls to the main line are not answered and messages not returned.
Unfortunately we will not be able to recommend this company to anyone else as this experience has soured us.
Train your new people how to provide better service.
Clean your units.
Don't deliver poorly repaired units.
Note that the pickup driver Dan was unfailingly polite and pleasant to deal with. He apologized for the condition of the unit upon delivery and said he would mention it to his boss.

Cannot say the same for the driver who delivered the unit as he did not offer an
introduction and was rather sullen. ( should have been a warning flag)

Forgot straps and moving blankets and were told if I needed them to drive to pick them up in Brampton. I should have done more research as they were never upfront with actual costs or fee's (other then the monthly rental fee), they schedule & confrim pick ups yet don't actually show up to pick up the bin without notification. Then argued with me, the customer, that its not their fault and still charge for delivery and pick up on top of 8 weeks of rental fees for 4.5weeks of rental.
Received (4) charges to my credit card without reaching a single invoice or notification of the charge.
Look else where - I wouldn't recommend at all. I too work in customer serve and this company has none but they'll take your money!

We booked Go Mini's when we were staging our house to sell. They delivered when they said they would, arranged a last minute pickup and stored our unit for a couple of months till we moved and delivered our unit at our new house and squeezed in the pickup for us when we changed the date! Not one thing in the unit was damaged and we were thrilled!

I just wanted to let you know how much my business has appreciated our relationship with Go Mini's since we switched from Pods last year. With you being local, I don't have to wait to get a box when we need one fast. Being in the disaster recovery business, our customers can't wait for a week when the washer hose breaks. Your Go Mini's has always been quick to help us out when we needed it. Thanks Lori and Mark!

Used Go Mini's for our storage during our recent move.
Cannot say enough about how easy this service was to use, and the great customer service provided. Moving is highly stressful and the young lady on the phone Laurie consistently soothed our nerves and reassured us that everything would work out fine ( and it did). Her constant sense of humor and understanding was greatly appreciated during the most stressful times.
Mini was delivered, loaded and removed to storage without a hitch. We didn't even have to be home!
When we closed on our new home, the MINI was delivered back to us promptly. The driver was polite and friendly and was in and out in ten minutes. So convenient!
it was stressed to me repeatedly that no guaranteed times were given due to traffic and other issues, but that they would 'aim' for a certain window- and they were there within that window. Can't ask for more than that.

I first looked at using Go Minis as they had good advertising and promised to beat any price. They were about $10 less per month than the more popular Pods and the pick up and drop of fee's are less as well. The site is easy to use and the people on the phone were great to talk to and explained everything clearly, including suggesting they would be at my home between 9-11am. So I took the day off and enlisted some help so I could load the pod to get ready for construction the following week. I then called around 10:30 and was told one of the 2 drivers they have called in sick so they were down to just one. She thought that maybe they could make it here after 12. I suggested if they experience a scheduling issue they should call their customers to give them a heads up. This was not really welcome advise and we said our goodbyes. At 2 PM I called again and was told he should be here within one hour. I called my friends and said its not going to work out and thanked them for offering to help. I ran a quick errand and rushed back to try and make it back in time. When I got back at 310 they had not yet been. I called AGAIN at 345 and was told he is on his was and stuck on the 401. I suggested again that they could have simply called me on the cell I provided so I could manage my day doing some errands as I had already booked a vacation day for this. The lady I spoke to would hear none of it saying they don't have time to call their clients and its out of their control. I get that life happens but by simply communicating more effectively with their clients would allow them to adjust their day and be more productive. I asked if they would compensate me somehow, maybe credit half a month or something just to recognize the fact that they put myself and friends who offered to help in a tough spot. She got her back up and when I pushed it a bit she hung upon me. Someone needs some customer service training. This whole incident could have been avoided if they simply called to say their are delays. That I understand. Not communicating and getting kissed off at your client for being upset about wasting the entire day I do NOT understand. When the driver arrived he was amazing. Tired as he had to do the work of two but very nice. Learn to communicate at HQ and I would have given this 5 stars.

We suffered significant damage in the storms that hit in July. Our basement was flooded and we were trying to deal with insurance companies as well as the loss of many of our possessions. Go Mini's was able to provide a container to our house the next day and we were able to complete the restoration of our basement. They were so helpful and helped make a very stressful time, less stressful. Thank you again.
