We hired Litwiller to renovate a kitchen. What should have been a straight forward remodelling job became a nightmare. There was no quality control. The cabinets were not what we ordered, and they arrived damaged with parts missing. The tile floor was badly installed and started cracking immediately. His customer service is appalling. He is rude, abrasive and completely unprofessional. We had to live with an incomplete kitchen for months, as he kept promising to remedy the situation, but never did. What little work he did complete was so badly done we had to rip it out and start over. Mediation went nowhere and as a result, we had to take him to court to get our money back.

I just came across this negative review now. (February 27 2020). Yes, indeed, in 2013 this project went terribly wrong pretty much from the start. In hindsight and after the dust all settled I'm thinking it was weak performance from both sides. This situation taught me to be more careful in project assessment before even considering taking on the work and it also reminded me that I must be much more selective and involved in what my employees and trade partners are doing on the job sites. Since 2013 I can confidently say we've had occasional minor challenges that are always rectified quickly and to complete customer satisfaction. Over the past 40 years I've averaged 95% customer satisfaction and that is extremely high for the renovations industry.
