I had a vent blow off my roof two summers ago. Carlo was very responsive, explained my options and did great emergency work.
When it came time to replace the shingles this year I collected three quotes and went with Boston Roofing. Again, Carlo provided options and shared lots of information which helped me through the process. He brought a big crew that worked quickly and left the place tidy every night. We had paint start bubbling on the ceiling inside our house over the winter and had several roofers come out, most of which shrugged and said it was snow related or just suggested a new roof. We could see that the roof looked to be in good shape, and really just wanted someone to figure out WHY the water was coming in. After being stood up by the last roofer to come out, I sent out three more requests for work, and Carlo called me back an hour or so after getting the email. He came out later that day, identified that the roof was about ten years old and in good shape, went up on the roof and found the issue (bad flashing on one side was allowing snow buildup to push water into the house).

His team was out the next day and fixed the problem in half a day with no mess, perfect work, and the repaired part of the roof looks identical to all the rest. We'd strongly recommend Boston Roofing and we'd hire them again in a heartbeat if we had issues.

We hired Boston Roofing to come in when we realized that our roof was leaking (it was only 10 years old). The came promptly and provided thorough photographs and information on what was wrong with our roof. They provided a comprehensive proposal to address what was obvious (the leaks) while also addressing what we didnt know about (severe moisture issues).

All of the work the did was thorough, as promised and prompt. They cleaned up everything and their employees were polite and seemed genuinely interested in doing a good job.

Ive heard a lot of horror stories about roofing companies and thats why I went with a local company who had been in business for many years and had a strong reputation.

The truth is this: you get what you pay for. Yes you can always find a fly-by-night company who can do things cheaper, but in the end you pay more with damage and having to redo the work. Boston Roofing charges very fairly given the quality of their products and workmanship.

We highly recommend Boston Roofing! After the major storm event of May 2022 we had neighbours who recommended them as everyone who had had their roof done by Boston was untouched by the storm. Aside from doing a perfect job, they are also friendly and honest people who go out of their way to help!

Thrilled with Boston Roofing for total replacement of my roof 2021. It was a huge job that required removing and replacing all the underlying plywood and fixing supporting wood rafters underneath. The owner went over and above to make sure I understood the costs for material and service and the way the job would be done. He explained everything very well to avoid shocking costly surprises. Once the shingles and wood were removed from the roof they also cleaned up areas under them, in the attic, that were wrecked by squirrels, added new insulation in a few areas and fixed a pipe from the kitchen to outside.
He said that he tried to treat me fairly, and I believe he did. He cares about the job quality, the costs and the customer.
Other companies would not give a real quote until they could see how it looked after all the shingles and wood were removed - at which point I would be bound to follow-through with a sub-rate job that would be of little value, or consent to a through job at up to 5 times the original estimate or incur damages for hesitating. (So the costs could have soared once the shingles and wood-boards were off.) Some other contractors also said they knew the job, but not the costs for material and labor. So if costs did balloon I would be stranded with an accounts representative who would likely not have been able to tell me why.

I had at least 4 other roofers give us a quote on the roof of our back covered patio. All of them gave very high quotes for just re-doing the flat roof. Boston Roofing came and pointed out a few other things that needed to be done, including moving a downspout and fixing the siding that connected the flat roof to our main roof that had wire mesh over it due to the removal of a squirrel last summer. And get this - the quote was *cheaper* than all the other guys! They did such a great job with the flat roof and all the metal work on the siding and downspout. These guys don’t just look at what you notice needs to be done, they look at what actually needs to be done in order for the job to be done right and to help prevent any leaks in the future. And they do it at the best price! Their staff was very pleasant and explained everything in detail all throughout the process. I will never, ever hire anyone else for my roofing needs. These guys are absolutely Pros and the best out there!

When my dad needed an extra quote for the shingle replacement at his home, I checked on the contractor who did my home 20 years ago…Boston Roofing. They were still in business and came out to do an inspection the next day, provided a very competitive quote and within a very short time after had the job completed. they communicated before, during and after the job and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. To Carlo, Sal and the entire crew, thanks for a job very well done. I would recommend you to anyone in need of roof shingle replacement!
