Aside from being very good natured, Gary is extremely reliable. He always calls when he says he will, keeps you well informed of progress, and completes the work in a timely manner. He is also very helpful with suggestions for your project.
He owns his own small equipment for backfilling etc which helps keep the price down. I obtained 4 estimates and his was 3rd lowest. His visit to give his estimate instilled a great deal of confidence as he obviously has a lot of experience. His work is impeccable, he is well aware of building codes and his work passed all building inspectors' requirements easily. I would highly recommend him for anything from a small home improvement to building a home. His own self-built home is evidence of his ability.
